That's not how guaranteed URs work. It's not like if you randomly pull a UR in the first pack of a 10 pull that it eats up your guaranteed UR. 80% of the time a guaranteed UR in your pack will mean you got one more UR than you would've otherwise gotten.
The guaranteed guaranteed UR from the bundle only doesn't matter if you were unlucky enough to pull no URs in the first 10 and would've gotten the guaranteed anyway.

He's right. You should be using dust in ways that let you save your gems for packs that have a higher chance of giving you a UR you want so that your gems get you more good URs and you have to craft fewer in the long run.
As a new player yeah, you need to save it to craft staples, but once you have your basic set of staples then you SHOULD be crafting that 3-of UR which is the only UR you want from a selection pack, because pulling on a pack whose URs only have a 1/13 chance of being a good one is a terrible idea.

You're making the mistake of not viewing gems and dust as fungible.

You need to learn how the packs actually work in the game before you try applying statistics instead of just assuming how they work.
Every card is rolled individually. The guaranteed UR is ALWAYS the final card in the final pack. The only time the guaranteed UR does not mean you got 1 extra UR is when you would have had that one single slot randomly roll itself to be a UR. And the odds of that happening is only 20% because it would otherwise be SR guaranteed which has boosted odds to 80% SR and 20% UR.

This means that having a guaranteed UR in your 10 pull will on average have more URs than a normal 10 pull, even if you exclude all the 10 pulls that had 0 URs.

Dark Hole, Book of Moon, any low rarity Kaijus and Artifact Lancea could all slot in the main deck. I think you should have a free Raigeki from solo mode too
Don't think the extra deck matters much you've got all the essential stuff. You can throw in Knightmare Cerberus/Phoenix and Samurai Destroyer I guess

You can fill it out more with three copies of Dora dora if you have the SR dust, 3 dark holes, If you have a third Genroku, add him too. I don't know if you crafted or pulled the Mulcharmies, but if you have Purulia you might as well through in a copie or two. If you still need cards to fill up the rest. If you're REALLY desprate of cards and starters, you could throw in masked dragon, for if he crashes into the opponents monster and dies he's a full Tenpai combo starter.

For the ED through in whatever. If you have heavenly seals (Which you can get from the dragon made starter deck) Is good here in there, but other than that I'd just run three copies of Trident Dragon (Not ideal but at least that why that can't snipe it with unicorn or something)

There's no reason to think the girl isn't the girl. There's a living shadow behind her as well as the little dark and light ghostly creatures on her so it's safe to say those are the shadow.
Sadly there's like no info in English on the folklore that inspired her so it's hard to make any good inferences beyond what's told.

The original is about a creature of shadow that waits at the bottom of stairs that lead to a perfect view, and most people who attempt cannot make it to the top and so as a shadow it cannot follow them there. Also something about achieving nirvana, it seems to be mostly metaphorical.

I'd say one of the most important things is that she's walking DOWN the stairs in the card art so presumably she's already made it to the top which is why the shadow creature has fused with her and why she is no longer blind but is looking at the viewer.

Her effect is one of duality. She can either destroy one card, or she can revive one from the GY. This reflects the symbolism from her art with her having a ghostly scythe and the white and black spirits with her.
Her banishing herself could be representing her reaching nirvana and its associated emptiness+lack of self but that seems like a stretch.
The important thing is that she's qute.

My first thought was White Forest, since they can fuse Seraphinite at the cost of running a garnet (the man himself). It lets you shuffle back your garnets. In other words the cards that need to be in your deck rather than hand.
Like if you're playing 1 Gem-Knight monster in your deck so you can use Brilliant Fusion to Foolish Burial something, then if you draw that monster+Brilliant Fusion you're not able to use the Brilliant Fusion because it only uses monsters in the deck. So you can put it back in your deck with Pot of Generosity.
Or you could potentially avoid a deckout with it.

Obviously the card is still bottom of the barrel bad, but there are cases where it'd be useful.

Vision's first effect is nice but his second effect is the best.
By the """"cost""" of sending him to the GY by any mean, you have access to the best card of the deck Crimson Gaia (search any card of the archetype from deck or GY + book of eclipse during your BP for OTK + special summon a RDA from GY), which is a starter or a key extender, excellent to bait interruptions when your hand is meh. No matter the hand Vision can basically save your ass by giving the card that you want and summon a synchro in bonus if there is a level +5 (dark) monster on one board, without using your normal, without triggering impulse, or locking you in anything unlike most of the archetype.
It's a dark monster too so he can be used to special summon a Bystial (interruption) and later be summoned back by a Dis Pater to extend or destroy an opponent monster.
You can do more things with Vision and Gaia but these are the main things that make both cards URs while Soul and Bone are SRs. The engine remains mid on its own though so add some cards in the mix depending on what you face.

Your impression is wrong. Lancea was not an unknown card until now. Everyone knew of it and it's seen side deck play in multiple paper formats. Using cards that are bricks vs the best and most common decks because they can shit on some rogue decks is a bad idea and if you wanted to do that you'd be better served with something like Nib or Droll.
It sucks if you wanted to play something non-maliss that loses to it, but that's just how it goes when you play off-meta decks. Some metas are going to be way harsher on them than others and you should try to find one that matches up better.

I discovered this during the Synchro cup in mirror duels, the actual best line is to go on Scarred aka Kitkal at home, by increasing the level of Soul or Bone with Bone's effect by sending to the GY Vision and do the rest with the resonator(s) (or Centur-ion cards if you play the engine) you have in hand. Btw it's most likely why half of the resonators have an effect like "If you have a monster that is totally not RDA on field, you can SS this card from your hand", resonators that you can search with Crimson Gaia, card that can be searched with Vision. If you get Nib'd, with a Bystial or the level 4 that "somewhat" banishes synchros from your GY, you can summon back that banished synchro with Red Zone on your opponent's turn, and gain an additional pop if it mentions RDA in its card text.
The Red Rising line in showcase videos is more a line to flex on a hand without handtraps than an optimal line. The deck's rather small compared to what Ryzeal, Maliss or degen synchro decks usually do, but the it definitely works even pure against good decks.
If you prefer meta decks that are simpler and stronger decks it's okay even if they have their silver bullets too, except full power Snake-Eyes Millennium of course...
