I think you would be confused at first and just winrate everything. As you face harder bosses you start to have fun learning the gameplay and strategizing. Then when you finally learn everything there is to know about the gameplay, you will get bored. Because the non-story content is just grinding mirror dungeon, and most fights revolve around "clashing higher and sitting through long animations".
The story and characters however are fun, and so is the world. PM is pretty generous compared with other gachas so thats a plus too.

I think Canto 5 had some good moments but ultimately everything of importance was shoved into the dungeon. I don't like when they spend too much buildup to the conclusion because it doesn't really give the ending time to breathe. As individual parts, part 1 and 2 are strong
Ishmael channeling her anger and her adventurous spirit to captain the sinners to row towards the whale, is still one of the most charged moments in the game
When prt 1&2 are paired up with part 3 to make a canto to fully try and expand on Ishmael, the canto fails
We just flat out didn't spend nearly enough time with the Pequod.
And as a result, this shakes the foundation of part 1 and 2 as well as those parts didn't attempt to give us more info about Ishmael's past or the Pequod either
