Reposting from the last thread.

This is our Kichikuou Rance team to represent the general in the /vr/ League (which is a lot smaller than the VGL). It is not our main team. Games will be played in september.

Rules here are slightly different to VGL. In VGL we have a squad of 23, 5 medal players (with boosted stats) and either 1 or 2 goalkeepers (we currently only run one goalkeeper) but there are unlimited pre match subs and 3 subs during the game.
The 5 medals and the GK play every match and the rest of the matches are spread among the others.

In /vr/ League there are no pre match or in match subs and the 11 players selected play every match. There is a designated "saviour" who can substitute in any position during a match if there is an injury.
However before match day starts we can nominate the starting lineup and as long as the players have identical stats/skills to another they can be substituted for that other player - eg if we wanted we could have 3 different gold strikers and rotate a different gold striker each match.

We wanted this team to have a slightly different feel to our regular VGL team so we have done this. Plus we have also taken into account some Kichikuou things - Shizuka is popular enough to be a medal and Nagi and Annis also polled well. These characters are mutually exclusive in KR so we are going to make Shizuka the 1st Silver medal player and have Nagi and Annis as substitutes for her and rotate the three from match to match. /vr/ League has 7 group stage matches so over a course of a group stage Shizuka will play 3 matches at the 1st Silver medal player and Nagi and Annis will both play 2. Likewise Lia and Satella are the 3rd silver and will play 4 and 3 matches respectively.

In keeping with trying to give this team a different feel from the main team we are mostly doing an aesthetic makeover.

I don't know how some people managed to keep their Suzuka's magic level at 3 in IV. Or did they just grind the shit out of the dungeons? IMO this sort of stuff is necessary because then it'll give him a sort of shield and also an excuse to restrain him. I feel like if you'd just randomly popped Rance into a normal non-hentai setting he'd just get ganked by all the good guys the moment they caught him being Rance. Like, he's not just a rapeman. Even if he was completely celibate, he still gets up to so much casual crime and destruction it'd be hard for him to get away with it. But, he has been shown to restrain himself when near people he cares about, which he'd have in a reincarnation scenario.

What I was thinking of was it being like in Evenicle Rance 1 and 2. In both of those he seems to be physically and mentally identical to Rance, but can seemingly restrain himself well into physical adulthood before finally losing control once the plot starts for real. In Evenicle Rance 2 he's even raised right in the middle of civilization and gets to have sex while young, but doesn't turns into the rapeman until the plot starts, even then, he by default seems to be as nice as EoS Rance despite not going through his adventures. In comparison to Continent Rance which can't hold it in for more than a few days without going crazy, EveRance seems to have ten times as much self control, simply due to being raised normally and thus being around people whose opinion he cares about. (As opposed to Continent Rance which was an orphan and probably treated rather coldly growing up)

Doing that makes it easier to ensure his survival. At least, all this is useful if you want him on the side of the good guys. If you let him team up with the antagonists, (or be his own side) then he can get up to whatever the fuck with little issue.

There are some non-wacky settings which are fucked up enough that Rance would be fine in. They're just not eastern (that I know of) or in any digital medium. Exalted, for example. When a commander levels up, they have a small chance of getting a bonus stat in their situational bonuses (the pluses you get for attacking, defending, or in a dungeon). The chance is slightly higher for each level and it's more unlikely to raise a stat that is already at +1 or +2. This is all not really worth worrying about unless you're being OCD about minmaxing.

Rick and Leila were my main attack force and Rick randomly got a bonus to +4 attack on offense, so after that I decided to get good levels for them (Sparrowmod goes to +5 instead of +3, to deal with higher difficulty I assume). I'm on LP3 10 4 and they are effectively 14 attack 7 defense and 11 attack 7 defense and then the additional bursting with power bonus. I haven't been solely focused on them, but Leila and Rick have gotten more troops than anyone else and they have been unstoppable. Other generals have just gotten pop staff because they were already effective enough on defense that I was working on shittier units. Cordoba was lucky enough to get +3 defense when defending after some minor reseting and now the only thing that can hurt him terribly is plains battles with max troops.
