Every time I play vanilla I play until MC then quit. Why is the pre-raid BiS loot treadmill so much more enjoyable than the raid loot treadmill? Is it just because dungeons are more bite sized and you aren't competing with 24/39 other people on loot or something? Is it the fact dungeon runs only take an hour or so instead of multiple hours of progression every night? Never understood why there wasn't more of a focus on smaller 5/10 man raid content.

I don't get why people seethe at BG explorer XP so much.
The kills are basically dungeon kills the XP is basically a quest completion XP. and nothing crazy like 2 or 3 quests but 1 and seeing as bg's can last 25 minutes i wouldn't even says its crazy fast.

Even after the wave progresses past 1 - 30, low level trade goods are going to be relatively easy to accrue. Ironically, cloth and leather is likely going to be more scarce than ore and herbs because 1. AoE farming is nerfed and 2. there's really nothing you can do to farming them relative to vanilla. As people realize that it's easier to level crafting professions on Epoch, more people will probably opt to drop gathering professions entirely and rely on buying trade goods, which will hopefully help stabilize supply and demand.

Ultimately, you'll still be able to make money off of the shit that no one wants to farm or can't farm. Swifttwhistle will probably be easy to farm due to how common mageroyal and briarthorn are now, but who the fuck wants to farm stranglekelp except druids and maybe shamans? And, of course, silver ore will always be fucked.

Multiple times I had to gather bear asses for the NPC to give me servings of bear ass curry but not the recipe. Fire is the main raid spec in vanilla after you get out of all of the bosses having a fire immunity or resistance because of how the Ignite dot works in vanilla where every mage contributes to it and it ticks for retarded amounts of damage, in TBC it changes to be individual so Arcane ended up being the best spec with how their t5 set bonus boosted it but who knows if that'll continue on here without it. So far Arcane will probably be the best if they keep how arcane blast is

Well downranking is kind of ass. So from a mana efficiency standpoint a lot of healing so far for me in dungeons has just been using Regrowth and keeping rejuv rolling. HT I only really use on bosses when I start falling behind on heals. I expect it to be used even less once I get Swiftmend.

I just don't get why anyone is playing on this buggy ass game. The changes they made are extremely unbalanced and barely tested. You have vanilla and wotlk mechanics clashing with each other at every turn. And once you get passed level 15 you realize you have no more custom content outside of chatgpt written vibecoded quests littered around the world.
The only good change the server had was darker/moodier nights, but that's ruined by their retarded 4 hour day cycle.

Play Turtle or play VVall, Epoch is dogshit and the population is already draining away. Only a few more months until Ascension devs toss aside Kaytotes and add p2w.
