I don't use FSR I use Xess2 which they're adding officially in 2 days anyways but I will still use the Optiscaler version because it's highly customizable like the same tools that developers use to tune it customizable. Leviathan has the power to merge and absorb. This is the power that allowed her to absorb Imperator into herself.

Imperator has the power to split and replicate. This is the power that allowed him to stay conscious as a weaker but separate entity even after Leviathan had already absorbed his main body.

Fleurdelys, becoming the Resonator for the combined Levia-Imperator abomination, became a Resonator for both and had access to both their powers. When she trapped herself in the Avenolium, she split a part of her past self to become Cartethyia. And later got merged back again with Imperator's power.

Cartethyia is an elf child who dreamed of becoming a knight. This is the truth. Leviathan, having control over the Order, orchestrated how Cartethyia would be groomed into becoming her own personalized Blessed Maiden. She manipulated two commoner parents to adopt Cartethyia and planned it so she would eventually grow and rise in power as the Sentinel's Resonator. This is why Leviathan says she "made" Cartethyia/Fleurdelys, because she literally orchestrated her entire life.

I don't have the perfect details but I think I understood some parts.
There's like 2 types of godly beings. One side is are called Sentinels and they usually safeguard humans. May or may not have been artificially created. And Threnodians who might be amalgamation of negativity given form fucking up everything with waveform phenomena and laments. Resonators with certain mystery qualifications can tie themselves to sentinels to amplify their own powers while stabilizing a sentinel's power. Many flaws are fixed via the tied resonator's second awakenings which is also a mystery about its rulesets.

Threnodians by default aren't designed to be tied to humans. But Leviathan isn't like every other Threnodian so it decided to make one for themselves from scratch. But this was after Levi got merged with Imperator. The world's rules become a gray area of experimentation. Levi used Fleur to tie itself. Imperator wanted to use the world's rules about 1 resonator tied to 1 sentinel where if you try to get another one you just get erased. It's world's law. So it wanted to erase itself and Levi via this rule breaking via someone qualified like Cantarella. which she refused to do. Second Awakenings generate energy and Canta decided to give her awakening's energy back to the Imperator. Imperator decided to force Fleur to kill it. But remaining energy from Levi along with Dark Tide lingered so Fleur was stuck getting corrupted in the Avenolium.

Why are there 2? Fleur was determined to go kamikaze on the Leviathan Imperator merged entity. But a part of her wanted to live. Imperator is associated with splitting powers. From Fleur, that side got split from her and it became Carthy which remained behind while Avenolium got raised. But Carthy somehow got sealed too in a sonoro sphere on ground floor so until Rover came back both Carthy and Fleur were stuck.

The cutscene shows that they seem to be about on par before Cartethyia transforms (though Arsinosa is stronger). Once she becomes Fleur, she completely dominates the entire fight. It's a bit harder to tell, though, since the scene mostly focuses on her and Rover having a connection.
Fleurdelys does one shot her once the Dark Tide takes over, though.

I don't know how they're going to keep players, unless the story is amazing, i can't see player retention being high. On top of that, having only cosmetics to rely on for making money will incentivize them to make characters that look bad and are only "fixed" when you buy a cosmetic skin for them. Snowbreak, while not going that way, has these really pricey skins which go for 30$ a pop and if you're not careful, you'll be dumping playstation5 worth of dollars into the game before you wake up.

One of the things i like about gacha is that you can't progress indefinitely, each day has a cap on the amount of progress you can have due to energy mechanics. I like not being able to play for hours and hours each day because i don't feel pressured to do it if i can. Playing WoW for hours on end each day now feels like wading through waist high mud uphill, you're fighting against something that never ends, no matter how much time you invest, you cannot finish the content. On the other hand, with gacha you know that you're done for the day and you can go do something else, you've hit that wall of progression and you don't feel bad if you stop playing because there's nothing else to do for the day. Are they going to be forced to turn DNA into warframe as well, with long crafting timers and grindy, low % droprates, just to keep players playing?

I stopped playing warframe after a few months back in 2014/15 because it couldn't hold a candle to what WoW had going for it back then. These days Warframe is a grinding game and i can't go back to grinding games because i'm at an age when i feel and know that i'm going to die one day, instead of just being aware of it like i used to be in my teens and twenties.

I kinda agree with that, in gacha you unlock characters by doing the content, not grinding. You can't have all of them, but the few you have are fairly cheap to obtain (especially in the types of gacha that "respect your time" like wuwa). The only issue for me happens for the gacha games with fast moving meta like hsr that luck can fuck your account from doing all content (at least without tactical rolling and constant min max grinding that removes the low effort part of the experience). I didn't play warframe but I did play destiny and the effort grinding light level every patch with mismatched ugly and non function sets was a lot worse than wuwa faster and linear progression. I feel this way about all gacha games and WuWa is certainly no exception - that the progression wall of endgame is completely an illusion and 90% of the content in the game doesn't require you to optimize your characters at all. And then even when you do, endgame rewards you with what, a handful of pulls every couple of weeks? It's hardly with the time investment.
