If you do most or your weapon gacha rolls on tickets, you'll probably at worst spend 3000 currency just to top off for a character who really needs the weapon like Makoto.

Because a 5* weapon is 120 x 70 = 8400 gems and you might want a specific 5* like for Shun, granny, etc. Since soft pity is virtually nonexistent you might just be pissing away 4000 gems on extra Lufel levels. That said, 5* weapons are usually not very impactful especially for nonlimited characters, so in general the gems are almost always more worthwhile.

If it's the latter there's many ways to deal with them. Merciful Healing, the Chaotic (iirc) card that distributes your damage across all enemies, the Pocket Watch to skip them entirely, standard fire team which is mostly AoE based and damages both of them too.

Debuffs don't reset on Yamata deaths either so you can just Makoto S1 to victory on Yamata even, provided you survive its free turns whenever it phases.

I spend all my stamina in one type of card at the RoR each day.
Sometimes I have to do the same card challenge 2 days in a row because the first time around I get nothing but worthless crap or don't even get a card for X or Y slot.
I rather farm those than worry about the colossal amount of resources needed to take anyone to Lv80 desu, specially when I still haven't finished Plan 3 yet.

I've finished Plan 3 but Plan 4 is deep in the lv80 requirements and such, so... it's just not worth chasing until Palace 3 chests vomit a bunch of character mats at us.
So right now I'm on smoothing out some usable cards, clearing 70/70 for everyone I use even as a niche (Yukimi, Moko, Kurotani, Sumi, Shiratori, etc should probably stop putting anymore into Moko and just get her Summer version)
