Most of the stories that aren't companion stories aren't about character backstories though. That's basically only what happened with phrolova (which was also considered by many the best story), the rest is only the relevant part to the plot (like being threnodian resonator or the blessed maiden) and don't take much of the time over the plot being advanced. Lupa was the main character immediately before and she doesn't even have a sad past, and all her personal drama is strictly recent stuff. Plus weird to complain about people having sad pasts in an post-apocalyptic setting.

The character grind system effectively replaces character/weapon banner gachas but will likely give the same amount of characters and weapons in the end. FSR on PC, assuming you're not using an Nvidia gpu (before 2.6) has always been a lie, Wuwa's FSR isn't real on PC. No wonder Genshin's FSR 2 looked better than wuwa's FSR. The image looks identical when you have:
Left image: FSR ON without modifying the Engine.ini file
Right image: FSR OFF while setting base resolution to 77% by setting r.SecondaryScreenPercentage.GameViewport=77 in Engine.ini
I think all the FSR toggle does on PC is divide the base resolution by 1.3 (100/1.3~=77), it's not actually FSR, it's just using UE4's garbage temporal anti-aliasing upscaler. Obviously this becomes irrelevant once 2.6 drops with actual FSR 3. FSR 3 released in 2023, there is no excuse for any modern game to not have FSR 3, unless the dev sold out to Nvidia.

Augusta is fine. She's good since she's Electro -- a very anemic, underserved class. Literally there are no other resonators to pick from from electro, except for a few washed up males that nobody plays. Yinlin is the only other respectable choice besides Augusta, but Yinlin isn't very good nor that hot so she's still not really an option -- making Augusta literally the ONLY viable electro option in the game, in all roles, because there are literally no electro characters who aren't male, and males don't count. If you're an older player, you're likely to pull Augusta simply for that reason, plus the fact she's inoffensive to your account due to not being male. Her kit and weapon are kind of cool too, I might add

Considering that she's echo damage dealer, my guess is that she makes one big nuke and then her spirit amplifies her attacks for next few seconds. Either a nuke or nuke and additional attacks are echo skill damage.
As her gun is double barrel sawed off, would be dope if during ult animation, she would quickly close the distance and make a point-blank shot. Additional attacks could be "magic" as she was shown to use some energy attacks from her other hand.

PGR is far worse. In WuWa you most of the time can still just intuitively without a guide understand how character works and play them. Meanwhile in PGR a lot of modern characters unironically have shit like "tap 1, hold 2, then hold dodge button to enter special mode to apply this special effect and use ult to activate it" and if you do any part of this wrongly the character just won't work.
