It's such a relaxing but longing theme, like what you'd expect from a bittersweet ending. There's a few other musical motifs for the Eden characters that are never played in game. Also, it's interesting to note that they label Zonda's dirge the same unique prefix as the muse/kudos themes. She's a pretty bad singer, which might be why she lost.

Don't think it does. The CDs have plenty of unique BGMs and vocal tracks. Look at Isola's CD, for instance.

People say Zonda is emotionally dead, but listening to this, she sounds quite emotional. She's coy, she's surprised, she's happy and sad, she even giggles a few times. I guess maybe how she behaved in GV2 was a coping mechanism or something.

It comes down to power differentials. With the fairy in her and inaccessible to Gunvolt, she thought GV would be a pushover. It's because GV is reckless and doesn't think things through more so than that he's ruthless, though the ruthlessness is an issue, see how the approach blew up when confronting characters like Elise. ZED in GV3 is a mirror of this. Though not GV in many respects (he turned enemies to his side, he took on the crown instead of refusing it, he's politically active instead of reactive, etc.), his recklessness still imperils the world. GV is also self-righteous and has a tendency to fall into binaries. Granted, his enemies are awful, but they usually have some legit issues that he just brushes aside because they're irredeemable monsters in his eyes (something the fandom internalizes, which is why you have so many bad takes on the GV1/GV2 antagonists). He sees himself as a lone wolf messiah-like figure and shoulders the world's burdens on him, similar to Zonda and ZED, but then, once the immediate crises is concluded, drops everything and leaves.

Septimasome likely exists in abundance similar to chromosome except in red blood cell. You can seal them with Glaive requiring some weirdass esoteric ritual, but you're still able to use your power albeit in weakened state; Merak, Jota, and Nova have all done this.

EP and the comics are canonical to their personalities. While the events in the comics may not have happened, the way they behave is what they're actually like. I don't know why INTI made them such lovable clowns outside of the games, yet absolute monsters when GV encounters them. I guess maybe it's to mirror GV and Copen, or because there's a theme of duality and mirages throughout GV2. Copen especially is very similar to Eden, where he's a racist turbodouche worse than Tenjian when dealing with adepts, but a nice guy around his sister.

I think it's because it gets in way. This dense story and humanization of enemies drags down a "go faster, get the highest score" kind of game GV is.
Also because neither GV nor Acura are privy to this and they have no reason to show their true selves to their enemies.
Kinda how a boss in Awakening comes off as a bloodthirsty monster, then when you talk to Henry he tells you that he was actually nothing like that and in fact was a big softie mamma's boy, shocking Ricken to discover his enemies are actually human and not cartoon demons.

The vast majority of adepts are weaksauce. The only thing most of them have over normal humans is that septima typically makes them naturally stronger, more athletic, and more competent than their non-septimal counterparts (why Eden soldiers are better than Sumeragi, despite Sumeragi soldiers being adults with better training and tech, while Eden soldiers are irregulars all around GV's age). 99% of times, if an adept is killing, it's with guns and bullets, not pocket nukes. I think GV2 was the only game where Gunvolt came off as childish, but that was the themes of 2. All the major characters were idealistic children with too much power. Eden itself had barely anybody above the age of 18.

Zonda's utopian plans are more childish than GV's. Many adepts wouldn't purge nonadepts if given the power to do so, and even if they did, adepts are just as factional as nonadepts and would not be able to unite. Furthermore, an anarchic/socialist adept society as Zonda envisions would still run into the same issues of powerful adepts having a destabilizing effect unless muzzled (something Zonda is against). Even in Kirin's time, where adepts rule everything, they are glaiving stronger adepts to limit their threat.

Copen is probably the worse, as birth-trends favor the eventual replacement of nonadepts by adepts. The rate of adept newborns is rapidly increasing, and within a decade, will overtake the number of nonadept births. Copen's solution to this is to just kill them all, which would render humanity extinct. And this is exactly what is implied to have happened in iX2's alternate timeline.

The only issue I have with GV is that he seems to hold Eden in much higher contempt than Copen, even though Copen is Tenjian levels of bad, he just doesn't have the organizational capabilities. Copen's justification for his hate is also way dumber. It took the death of most of his adopted family, continual oppression, him and his sister nearly being killed with a slow acting and agonizing toxin, witnessing multiple atrocities against adepts, and multiple betrayals from nonadepts to get Tenjian and Zonda considering genociding humanity. What is Copen's backstory? My dad died while conducting human experimentation on adepts (suck it adepts, you deserve to be vivisected), and that's why all adepts should die, even my own sister.

Copen doesn't fight adepts because of such lowly heights as a personal vendetta. It's because they threaten the natural order of humanity and are born with the power to destroy it.
