Realistically, WoW has done the most dirty work against trolls. The deaths of Zul'jin and Vol'jin (and Rastakhan too), turning the Amani trolls into Duran's experiments to be a mix of orcs, trolls and reptiles, the weak appearance of trolls, demoting them to some tribes, and they had the largest empire ever before the rise of elves, etc. Seriously, why does Blizzard hate trolls? You can say what you want about BfA, but even though they had enough focus on trolls, they barely show them today. Gearing is complete RNG and makes up almost the entirety of your character's power. You're required to enter Raids and M+ in order to get anywhere close to the iLvl cap (623 in phase 1). Trolls are the original race that pretty much caused their own downfalls enough that by the time the Nelves came around, they were pretty vulnerable.
Had the incident at the Halls of Origination that made the place blow up with Lei Shen and the Zandalari splinters inside, there'd probably be a pretty hefty chunk of the original Troll empire still around that even Azshara's bullshit could've been overwhelmed.

As for the modern day, hilariously Rok'han is probably the only leader with any credibility these days. The Heritage quest not only actually dived into heritage, but he was showing himself to be the leader the Darkspear sorely needed without Vol'jin anymore, actively working to bring some old and forgotten Loa back into the worship. In particular the one that the Shadow Hunters got their abilities and powers from. In the long run, that would be a pretty huge benefit for the Horde as a whole given how much the various Darkspear specialists have been doing in each major campaign. Renewed worship of the current ones and ability to train new ones is pretty big, all things considered.

But hey, watch the modern writers completely forget and/or ignore that. What're Trolls going to do in regards to whatevers currently happening in the Amani lands in Midnight, pssshhhhtt, useless Darkspear, Blood Elves and Nightborne are the problem solvers of the Horde now.

THE ABSOLUTE STATE OF IRVINE

That boss is legitimately awful, having to awkwardly aim the breath at the mobs is terrible design and completely forces the tank to use addons to get the timing right because the dragon doesn't move when he starts casting it.
Then you have the fire from the cannonballs that last for like 30 seconds and the cannonball oneshots on impact, so the rest of the group can make tanking the boss much harder based on where they're standing when cannonballs go out, then can also be spread, meaning that the mobs spread too and are a bitch to get with a single breath

TWW has been disastrous for this game.

First, your inventory, bank, and guild bank items were lost due to TWW. Then, the 11.1 patch introduced a freezing bug and lag that still hasn't been fixed. Some people even lost their account reputations for accepting a stupid quest. Now, it's been revealed that all the expansion content is either cut BfA content or filler because there's nothing else for the expansion. They had to move some TWW content, such as Haronir and its zone, to Midnight. Who knows what they're going to move from Midnight to TLT?

These current developers can't handle the game. All they've done is add gay and trans stuff, and use things that the old developers did a long time ago, but never finished or made it to the final product before getting fired from the company.
