It was good for the retarded story, nonsensical dialogue, brouzouf and legs being okay, all the memes around it, and the actually kinda dope aesthetic. Even then, EYE isn't a "good game", it's just an interesting piece of art with kinda mid gameplay that gets stale after you beat it once, and that's about it.

Pretty sure the reason people are struggling with twins is exclusively down to being new, and/or shitters. I've run a couple of them in aurics and it's always been a cakewalk. The actual solution is avoiding lobbies with a havoc level under 30. I usually leave maelstrom lobbies if I see a bunch of sub-20 havoclets with stupid perks on their weapons, because that's a near guarantee I'll have to play solo anyway. Even then, chances are you'll have some retard psyker blowing himself up on the last wound.
I'd always reroll player death assignments because they're never worth doing. Books sucks, but at least you have an excuse to farm for the gay books penances that way. Missions played, mats, monstrosities and kills are always going to be the best ones.

I don't think it's a controversial take to say that the middle difficulties in any co-op game are always going to be full of absolute mouthbreathers that somehow make the game harder to beat than the highest difficulties. The closest comparable weapon, the Devil's Claw, has parrying to give it value in some scenarios. What does the heavy sword have? A single-target stagger? Decent unarmored horde clear? It does have a weakness in being painfully slow when horde clearing, meaning you sometimes have a lot of lag before you can react to things because you're currently mid swing, like a hound, trapper or burster suddenly turning the corner and maybe not being able to push in time. Do you use health or toughness curios on ogryn? I have always used health due to his large base HP but havoctrannies seem to just put toughness on everything. I never really saw a point to toughness on ogryn since on havoc it gets deleted instantly anyways no matter whether you have 100 or 150 if you aren't replenishing it with melee, so I always preferred having health to survive a sniper shot or getting stuck in fire for a bit longer.

When I play aurics I use 2 toughness and 1 health curio on ogryn.
Gets me around 187 toughness and 409 health, when I spec them out properly.

In havoc I use 3 toughness curios because toughness is more useful to have. Yes, more health in havoc would be more valuable in theory, but everything does so much damage that it doesn't really matter if you have 300 health or 200, you'll be dying in less than a 1 anyway if you get cornered.

In havoc toughness is preferred because you can endlessly generate toughness all the time, and since all toughness regen skills are % based you always regain your toughness at the same rate no matter if you have 100 toughness or 200.
Also in havoc toughness damage is still flat damage, so if a poxwalker slaps you for 20 toughness and you have only 100 maximum toughness, you're left with 80 toughness which is 80%.
If you have 200 toughness and get slapped for 20, you're left with 180 toughness which leaves you with 90% of your toughness bar left.

TL;DR
There's no easy ways to heal in havoc besides stimms and medstations.
Toughness you can regenerate infinetly all the time and toughness is what actually prevents you from dying and taking damage.

Most people playing havoc still haven't figured it out yet, either. Also most darktide players are fucking retards who just blindly follow what some jewtuber said and then perpetuate a nonsensical meta by trying to exclude anyone that doesn't adhere to it, yet still struggling to even reach 40. Meanwhile, havoc 40 games full of what would be considered meme builds often have better success rates because the players behind them actually know what they're doing. Veteran and zealot are the best examples of this, where the generally agreed upon "meta" isn't actually what's optimal, no matter how much you want to discuss the semantics around the concept of "meta", or try to cope with all the retarded hardstuck drivel this general constantly spouts. Plasma trannies are a fucking scourge.
Slaving over toughness is one of the major reasons everyone collectively pissed themselves over the aids puddle modifier, when all it takes to not die to your pinkie toe touching it, is a health curio with corruption res. I would always run 1 health curio with corruption res on psyker and veteran for this exact reason.

That said, I think ogryn is possibly the worst class to run more than 1 health curio on, because you're inevitably taking constant chip damage due to how you want to position yourself. You also get pretty huge amounts of toughness generation, so you want to get more value out of those. Especially taunt.
If you feel like you have to tank sniper shots, that's a skill issue, pay more attention. If you find yourself taking a lot of damage from fire, the only enemies that SHOULD be doing so with any reliability are flamers, and you can slot a flamer resist perk in your curios to help with that. Or three, if you're okay with the diminishing returns. But it gets pretty tight after 3x CDR and 3x gunner, since you likely also want res speed.

It's not as meaningful as it should be, because of what you said. You can kinda just bash your head against the wall until your own assignment is at 40, and then farm for lucky spawns with 3 better players.
On the other hand, True Survivor implies that the player at least has a vague idea of what they're doing. Keep in mind that the bar is so, so fucking low that you have to go digging to go down to the skill level of the average darktard. True Survivor is a fucking achievement by that standard.

I've also gotten retarded True Survivors, but they're an exception, not the rule. Unlike Havoc-Forged being complete shitters every time without exception, because it's admitting that you're too bad to get True Survivor.

I've never had a bad maelstrom run where the majority of the party was at least high havoc, but usually 1-2 other True Survivors. It actually starts feeling like a proper strike team, where everyone keeps moving forward at a brisk pace, and the only roadblocks are monstrosities that take like 8 seconds to kill.
Unlike the average run with shitters that sometimes approaches two digit number deaths (not downs) with a revolving door of at least 6 replacements because everyone just leaves on a down.

Lets you completely ignore armor, and thus makes for a huge DPS increase against crushers, maulers, and most monstrosities. Not relevant if you have shock staff for armored enemies. Barely relevant for Illisi or whichever one had the big cleaves, since you won't use it for those.
>Deflector
Does something completely unique to force swords, and is actually pretty powerful. Again, depends on your build. If you don't need another blessing on your melee, and your melee is just a glorified stat stick, it's incredible. If you rely on your melee, you probably want something else.
>Precognition, Riposte
Both will let you deal fuckloads of raw damage, but this depends on what target you're hitting. Uncanny is usually better.
>Slaughterer
Annihilates hordes, but you're using the one handed one. I'd assume you'd want the greatsword for reliable horde clear instead.

Probably better off running a greatsword. It both becomes a killing machine while Gaze is active, and also completely solves any and all horde clear issues that your staff might otherwise have.
Just whatever you do, don't use the Obscurus, its special is useless, and it doesn't have a good moveset to make up for having a useless special like the penis-shaped one does. Illisi at least has a good special for horde clear.
Build looks fine. I'd move the point from Perilous Combustion over to quell on kill. Soulblaze isn't great unless you're really leaning into it, and it can accidentally aggro daemonhosts.

Scrier's with zappy staff is fine, it's just not particularly self sufficient and has slightly disappointing boss damage, both of which are kinda bad when your teammates are pants on head retarded, as they often are, so I don't like it as much. Either way, Illisi or greatsword would be the choice of sword for this.
