In lane get useful 800s for survive mostly (Resto shot, extra regen, extra health). Get active reload, fleet foot and tesla bullets as your early items. Push lanes up if nothing is happening knowing you can overextend a little and use your ult to get out. The moment someone responds to your splitpushing fly away and help a teammate on the map anywhere else. Do this until you can afford Siphon Bullets. Now you can split push the same way and they need to send two because you will win most 1v1s. Low level players absolutely struggle to play against an Ivy like this.

She is generic though. Almost all other character's have at least 1 iconic ability which doesn't have an expy in a different character's kit or as an item. Her 1 is a long kudzu, her 2 is guardian ward with different numbers, her three is a better, less interesting version of Talon's old trap and it will probably be nerfed in the same way and for the same reasons as Talon's old trap. Her three can also be negatively compared to Sinclair's aoe hex, in that they're both delayed aoe crowd control spells but one turns the enemy into rabbits (Fun! Unique! Flavorful!) While the other just roots them to the ground with green rocks (Bland! Unremarkable! Character Agnostic!). The only standout she has is that her glorified dynamo stomp ultimate has global range.
She is fun however, and she builds well as a traditional backline support, which makes her stand out ironically. Plus her gun is unique.
