They ported some elements from it (Cosmo's plant, Rouge's mom and her nickname to Sonic) and allowed in that encyclopedia and had it referenced on Sonic Channel while Sonic Rivals and some other games got nothing. I doubt this because Shadow Generations is probably my overall favorite official 3D Sonic game now, also they keep bringing back Classic so somebody's looking out for me.

The only "cabal" is Ian actively ruining Sonic and Amy, and whoever is handling English voice direction. Knuckles was already ruined for years and I'm not sure anything Ian is doing is moving the needle. Tails is funny because Ian acknowledges the problem in Frontiers but doesn't really do anything about it.
