Probably works on evaded hits. Also knights are very tanky with their passives.

Maybe useable as a niche backline auto-taunt if it procs often. You'd use sword + shield in backline and maybe get small counterattack value, then swap to spear/bow when you have your damage boosts.

Problem is awkward scaling with defense, def stacking can be pretty strong with high investment, but it has no synergy with counterattack/backline stuff, and you lose all the group utility of a knight for an effect similar to a fighter spamming level 3 heavy strike.

Its an interesting first attempt at making a cool kit, but needs a lot more baseline unique passive proccing.

I mean we don't know any values on the new character yet so can't make a decision yet.

Savia's taunt rate isn't perfect, that's one of the biggest complaints, if she could guarantee defend -> opening hits she'd shoot up to S tier but she's inconsistent.

This new character is a bit too limited, I think I'd consider rolling if he just passively perma-taunted, so at least he would be one of the best dedicated knights to make it worth investing skills to give him counterattack and damage. Limited to 3 taunts seems pretty shit, especially since the damage buff fades every turn.

The first one forced upon you is a +ACC -SUR passive and like bondmates, if you find more of the same relic you can chug more to level the passive up.

Maybe you need to be above a general Resistance threshold as well, and because it's a superboss, it's much higher
Maybe it doesn't matter and the gear is just for succubi while autofarming
