the reality a lot of shitters dont want to accept is that you can come back from losing three guardians in quick succession pretty easily as long as you have a gun character who is willing to sack themselves 3-4 times to backdoor enemy guardians before midgame

but doing this requires your team to counter-pressure the opposite lanes of your backdoor carry, and it requires your teammates to not get their teeth stomped on the curb so badly they lose walkers before minute 15. If your team can't do those things, then backdooring isn't an option because enemies will just glue 4 to their guardian

realistically, so many blowout matches happen because shitters will push into a guardian and then proceed to not shoot it, because they think they need kills first. you dont need kills to do anything in this game. just shoot the guardian retard

idk she's obnoxious but not super threatening, needs to land multiple shots to proc bites, she's super squishy, and her only other sources of big damage are a melee swing and her ult. wouldn't be any kind of threat if she couldn't get out all the time

Dunno why people call this game sweaty or toxic or horrible for new players. I've played like 20 matches now as a complete newbie to MOBAs (~30% winrate) and only seen someone rage a single time. Majority of the time people are really chill or just don't communicate at all beyond pings. Maybe it's just EU being nice and other regions are shitholes.

Feel like the difficulty is exaggerated too. Lots of items to learn sure, but I just picked a premade build someone made with good explanations to start with, and after that it's just getting experience of what each character can do to fuck you up. And constantly looking at the minimap to exploit number advantages to swing fights and push objectives.

Anyone else feel like these items are kind of ounderwhelming?

They're okay as early resist don't get me wrong but I just feel like it doesn't offer enough overall to be worth getting, it's almost always an item you'll end up selling. If you want the damage or fire rate from these items, there are better t2s. The small amount of CDR is negligible outside of some characters with super super long cooldowns. I feel like if they wanted to make these items feel more worth it the conditional bonuses should scale with level or something, maybe that would make them too strong idk but I just don't like how they are right now. It never feels like there's a good time to get it.

If this was the old system where you had to pick up green items then this would be really good but in the current system it's not and especially when there's so many good health items too. If I wanted an early game health item that gave me extra survivability i'd rather pick up guardian ward or reactive barrier

The only issue with melee is that you have too much control over direction and this is insanely OP when combined with the item that increases the distance it goes. I would also like it if characters had more variation in the speed and damage of their melee. Melee literally only matters for characters that specifically have abilities that combo with melee (either abilities that apply melee or ways to stun to do melee that don't have a focus on other aspects).
