I want a rework but I do not want it for all factions. I want a tech update where basic versions of things are implemented across the entire faction from DLC lords that make sense.

Karl Franz should have access to the Nuln gunnery school if he takes or confed's them for example.
He should have access to the colleges of magic as well but maybe he has to pay a massive fee to bribe gelt back or liberate Solland or something. The same for all of the Empire LL in some reasonable way that thematically allows them to have some of the strengths their faction *should* have lore wise.

Companies consider patching and post-release support to be "consumer satisfaction" ie the same sort of category as a tech support phone line or the customer service desk at walmart. Typically those working in that position are the lowest-paid in the company and none of their work or experience there is considered valuable with regards to career advancement. It's where your career goes to die. Most companies treat reassignment to that team as a form of punishment for low-performers, and an indication that you should look for new work because the company is either trying to make you quit, or has put you at the top of the queue for layoffs.

It might strike you as weird that a patch for a game that addresses player issues like crashes or bugs might be released alongside new content for the game like paid DLC, but that two separate teams work on the respective parts of that release, and that the patch team has next to no contact or coordination with the content team. But that's how it is. Companies are almost obsessive in their disdain for the process of post-release support and the employees assigned to it, even when their monetization model revolves around it. It's also why you see so many promising games fumble and implode before they even have an oppourtunity to sell their first DLC, because they bungle the post-release support so hard that it drives everyone away.

Warhammer of course will unfortunately never suffer that kind of humbling wakeup call because its battered housewife fandom will keep paying no matter how poorly they're treated

What's the closest analog to Grave Guard in the game? I'm thinking probably Greatswords but I'm not sure as the empire has had quite a few DLC throughout the games and I'm not sure if Vampire Counts received the same attention throughout the balance patches.
