What was the plan of SE and D9? Break up Pricefield even though they were very popular and well known.

I think the team at D9 wanted to tell a story about sorrow and moving on, but they may have misunderstood what made Life is Strange special.

That is the impression I get after reading everything the first two narrative heads Mallory and Deandra have written online. Aysha can be ignored since she does not seem to think about anything except sex.

If their first approach was to tell a strictly post Bay narrative as the Aperture leak implied, it would have made some sense. But also Mallory bragged about kicking out Zak Garris and rewriting the story into something they were really proud off, and we know they really did not like Chloe because they shat all over the Bae path. Needless to say, they have been kicked off before Aysha, so if she was the only one remaining before getting kicked off in December. And who the hell knows who is handling DE2 and how much they have rewritten so far.

Anyway, if D9 goes down after DE2 then SE will either shelve the franchise or just try to get another developer to make a full on LiS1 remake this time, since the initial plan for the Max Expanded Universe is now dead on arrival. They'll bring back Chloe because they have to, but they'll sanitize and put retarded imposition on the whole project and that will be the end of the series

Compared to Banishers and Jusant, LR is the first DontNod game to not fail sales expectation in a while, altought I agree most of the sales were likely save by the PS plus thing. But if we do get a sequel, I really hope it can reasonably improve on its shortcomings. Do you want to see DN improve or not?
