I'm thinking of bricking my Senshi by not picking any food related skills, except rank 3 where you have to pick mealtime. Reason: his cuisine doesn't guarantee happiness unless he's 5 star. And you need to run mealtime with responsibility, which also requires a castalia. Why even bother messing with cuisine if I'm not gonna 5 star him for a long time or ever. I know you can 3 star him and get extra 20 shards, but it's still a long time in the shard mines. And all the content creator niggers are recommending same 3 skill build that only works properly at 5 stars. My Senshi will be throwing grenades, resisting fire, hitting with 80% AoE and hiding behind iron pot and that's that.

You can't cheese it unless you're a day 1 player with a 5* Tristan/Nydia. Just do it normally. It's unironically not very difficult to do even with non legendary units if your talent trees are sufficiently leveled up.

I'm at 4 star for Nirvana, Nightmare Puppet and Nocturnal Glow. Nocturnal Glow only gets a 5% boost to it's effect at 5 stars, and I don't have Kvare so Nightmare Puppet doesn't have someone who can fully utilize it since everyone else's debuff skills all have long cooldowns. Is it worth spending precious astral shards on Night Ash again to gamble for a final copy of Nirvana? I do have the selector from the new Voyage Memento levels, but I was thinking I might save it to get a Shield of Justice or Army-Breaking Spear since I skipped that set and they don't seem too specific.

If Noct/Nirvana is all you want, buy them 1 at a time and as soon as you get one, select the other.

The boss is using a crossbow and the floor blocks the line of fire. Since the boss can't fire, he skips turn. Somewhere out there is a picture of safe squares, but cba to look it up for you. Everything below the stairs is safe except the 3 squares southwest of the 3x3 platform where ghosts spawn, to stand on them safely you need anything on adjacent northeast squares to block line of sight.

On Lower 6 and I just can't get past the turn when the Union ghosts get summoned. Going all out with triple healers, I can fully heal one guy, the pikeman standing on the dangerous stair (otherwise he gets sniped at start of next turn and whole party wipes). But if I do that, the damn lightning-charged slimes kill the two southmost ghosts, wiping the party. It was nice on floor 5, but this is too much. You can use dupes but it's not required, after doing a bit of FJ you get the daily stages which has the Memory Shard farm for starring up units

This reminds me of when I first saw that scene where Camelot declares war. It made me wonder, why didn't Dantalion just give the order to kill Camelot, Yserinde and Parcival right there? You're in the middle of Waverun surrounded by the King's Army and Hanged Men on all sides, with Papal States leaving in disgust and a good chunk of Union led by Gloria immediately opposing Cam. Camelot's already declared all-out war with no terms for a compromise, your relations literally cannot get worse so there's no need to fear backlash by chopping the head off the snake before he starts razing your nation. All of Dantalion's plans include killing people (including himself sometimes) so he must've had something ready up his sleeve before attending those talks.
But then I saw later on how Camelot can pretty much solo armies so he could've waded out of there through blood and corpses, but I dunno how Danty knew that back then.

I see it going one of three ways:
1) Best scenario: with no other Union leaders present, Gloria takes over the local Union forces and finishes the peace talks they had all gathered for as planned before Camelot threw a wrench into the proceedings. They head home, the Union would want to seek retaliation, but that would come from a weaker position and missing their strongest leader. They would have to re-invade Iria without the Waverun City Incident.
2) Gloria sides with Iria but the SoC alliance doesn't gain some of the Union defectors. This is still a great trade because in losing a piece of one of many factions that come together, you immediately dismantle the enemy command structure. Camelot's knight order is a cult of personality that rallies around him, and they depend on Yserinde for their strategy and tactics. That leaves the Iron Thorns without Parcival as well, and the story shows they get their asses kicked unless Parcival bails them out (and still loses). Even if they still push forward, that's a tremendous advantage for Iria because the war would either be delayed as inferior replacement leaders are shipped in from the Union homeland, or they press on immediately with their current, also inferior, second in commands. Camelot's rampages and Yserinde's plots never get implemented and casualties are severely reduced across the board.
3) Worst scenario: Gloria is disgusted by Camelot and co. being killed in front of her and declares war on Iria. I would say given her history and relationships in that route, I don't see that being very likely because it's killing a guy who just openly said he's gonna kill you; it's not like this was a dishonourable trap set for Camelot and Gloria has great relations with SoC. At the very least, even in this worst case scenario where you're going to war with the Union against Gloria, Gloria would be infinitely more open to diplomacy and infinitely less brutal to Iria than Camelot was.
