There's a piece of equipment I believe you get from zevlor that does the same with blade ward, which isn't as good past act 1, but you can run both and it does you a solid

You get the whispering promise ring from either grat or volo, so it’s available whenever you have access to the goblin camp. I can’t stress this enough, it turns all of your healing spells into bless, and it’s not a concentration. Late into the game, I’ll sometimes have my cleric spam low level MHW just to splash bless on my party, even if we don’t have damage

The red dragons that aid the gith are young adults at best. They gain combat experience and their fair share of wealth from aiding the gith, and the gith gain powerful (and very cool) mounts. Once they reach a certain age, they are free to retire and do red dragon things, while a new generation of young dragons replaces them - the one who's friends with Voss is an exception. If you view their relationship as transactional rather than rooted in obligation due to some ancient pact, it starts to make more sense.

Having a fantasy you can explore within the safety of your imagination is very different from a subhuman swine joking about rape for attention and doubling down because it lacks the empathy required to be human. Even more so when the subhuman apparently confuses the character with the voice actor, so the joke becomes more than bad taste. I don't think it needs to be an explicit list. You can use your discretion whether you think a human gm would allow you to do what you're doing.

For example, taking a bunch of smokepowder barrels out of your inventory and placing them around someone would obviously not work. They would stop you. Even if you were invisible, the barrels wouldn't be.

Just ask yourself "Does this make logical sense, or am I cheesing?" and that rule of thumb will guide you in like 90% of cases.

How do people even hit a damn thing in the early game? I watched a video of some dude making honor mode builds showing clips of pulling off insane damage even as early as the nautiloid and initial grove fight (where Kanon dies and Wyll appears). Seems like they never miss or have played so much they just have a million clips of damage or maybe they save scum for clips idk, but I just finished the initial grove fight and I literally only got a single hit in the entire fight, Wyll and Aradin basically duo'd all the goblins while my team was a punching bag. Toll the Dead even on an 8 wisdom goblin with Hex(Wisdom) on him still fucking missed 3 times.

I don't really understand how this game can provide more than 2 or so, at most, playthroughs.

Hell, Shart actually does change during the game. You're right that Shart is monagamous in act 1 and even says she doesn't want to be a third wheel, but then she pulls a full turn around and in act 3 she's suddenly telling you about her sexual daydreams about Halsin. So the game does feature a full shift in her preferences. We can discuss if it makes sense or not, but at the end of the day, since it's in the game, I accept it. Shart has a fundamental shift in her opinions between acts. It's in the game.

Bumping my own question to share a semi-reliable solution: after some experimenting I found that the game always fills up the "next" Party Slot when you start rebuilding your ungrouped party, meaning if you link your companions one by one (the first to the MC, then the next to that one and so on) you can whip Larian's lol-so-random system in shape. Well, at least for a while. Technically speaking Party Grouping means all 3 companion enter the system at the very same time, and since the Party Order on the left doesn't seem to have any effect on this their place in the formation is randomized. Ungrouping then adding only one at the time basically circumvents this. While this method can deliver reliable results your party order is still not 100% safe due to the god-awful AI, which tend to rearrange it on a whim when you pass through narrow places or climb ledges. If anybody knows the ultimate solution to the core problem I'm still all ears.
