Like with everything else on Epoch they have a great idea and then they completely fuck up the execution.
They literally created the solution already. Look at the PvP trinket bonus.
They could make PvP items absolutely dogwater in open world and PvE and then activate bonus stats in battlegrounds. Problem solved.
Instead everyone is now forced to afk in battlegrounds, because without pvp gear you're a victim when leveling.
