Guys I've just lost a game and I think I'm demoralized and suffering from an identity crisis right now. This isn't because of the lose itself but it's whom I lost playing as. I mainly play Strategist and didn't have much of a successful run with Jeff and Ultron today compared to CnD, Rocket, Luna, and Sue but man I feel so fatigued playing as healbots practically all day though if I switch to a DPS Healer I don't feel as nearly as successful when comparing to those particular characters. I didn't want to believe it then but the current meta of Strategists feels so haphazardly janky due to all the heal stall plaguing it rendering only half of the healers viable while the other half are deemed fucking useless in most scenarios unless babbied by triple support and even that comes with its own share of flaws as well. This feeling makes me want to start switching over to Tank more since at least they get to immerse themselves in the action. I am excited S4 but holy fuck do the devs need to do something quick about the Strategist dilemma, this is however worse than fucking solo tanking at times.

Star-Lord also has generous cooldown, a long-lasting flight ability, a way better ult, and teamups that only help his getaway abilities. Psylocke is powerful but she's nowhere as easy to play because on top of requiring aim you need to be consistent and know when to commit all the time or you'll find yourself without a dash trying to desperate speed up the cooldown. she's very good but it's much harder to find a good Psylocke player, versus Star-Lord whose only requirement is that you aim well (not even that necessary if you rely on E as a crutch)

I can tell you have very limited Star Lord experience and also a big bias because you're downplaying the importance of good tracking and aim on Star Lord really hard, while overinflating his skills while downplaying Psylocke's.

Psylocke has a much better kit that allows her to engage and disengage much easier while having way lower aiming reqs than Star Lord. Psylocke is way easier to play and more forgiving. It's way easier to feed and be useless on Star Lord.

A support typically stands behind his team, and his team should typically stand between him and the enemy team. From that position it is difficult to shoot at the enemy because they aren't actually all that visible from all the sweaty bodies and effects being blasted around. Can't shoot what you can't see.

Some supports go around that problem - ultron is the best example. Jeff has the splash damage thing, and luna her clap. All of these completely out damage me every fucking match.

Adam's skills demand that you sit close to your team, so you can't even go full lol hitscan and larp as a sniper.
