How hard it is depends on how progressed your account is and what bosses you have access too. Medium CAs should be doable without too much hassle, but you still have to go out of your way to do bosses you might not have done otherwise.

as for killing him it all really comes down to 1 basic principle. the olm arena is split into 3 sections, if he tries to attack and you are not in the section he's looking at he will not attack and he will only turn his head. so killing him is just about avoiding as many attacks as possible by abusing that mechanic. what specific method to use comes down to what weapons you have.
