It needs the evo point to do that, and the only time it realistically has any hope of doing that is when going second on T3 into T4. Beyond that it's going to get blown up during the evo turns before it can ever swing face 99% of the time, and often there are still answers that can kill a 3 toughness follower prior to evo turns.

I think pure loot fucking sucks. You're going all in on a single instance of 8 damage that's just going to die to a single 2 pp card then the rest to heal it all up.
I think some of the loot cards in midrange is the way to go, however it's just a worse version of Mode Abyss which has better Dog, better Amalia, and actual OTK potential. I don't have any Shams or Varniecks or I would be playing that instead.
