I'll spare this thread another flood with my doorman-gun autism, so I'll try to keep it to just this post

The vast majority of spirit items for Doorman are a waste. At absolute most, the only spirit stuff you'll need are spirit duration, and surge of power on Cart to stunmax, otherwise:

-the bell already slows at lvl 1 and does all the inaccuracy debuff it will ever do at lvl 1
-hotel ult is mostly utility and it lasts as long as it ever will at lvl 1. The damage will rarely be what kills, you shouldnt be finishing people off with this anyway, its more of a lockdown/isolate)
-and as previously mentioned, cart just needs lvl 3 and maybe spirit duration + surge of power but those are the only spirit items you'll ever need

All of this is to say that the vast majority of spirit items arent doing anything for you, and the money is better spent on making his gun kick even harder than it already does (and it kicks like a motherfucker, like that post's rebuttal said, Doorman literally has the highest damage per bullet in the game. This means combining express shot with magazine size and fire-rate with landing headshots is FUCKING BRUTAL, pair this with a cart stun and you can 1v1 almost anyone.

building more than, at most, Spirit Duration and Surge of Power on Doorman is a waste, yet consistently, top builds with Doorman have fucking Tankbuster and Boundless Spirit for some god forsaken reason, as if you are going to put a dent in anyone with the bell or ult past 15 minutes.

You could maybe make some argument for cooldown reduction items to get more frequent carts and bells and ults, but id rather fill those slots with gun items, things like HeadShot Booster, Express Shot, Titanic Mag, Lucky Shot, Glass Cannon, then the gameplan is:

Her projectiles are huge and slow, you have to predict when the soul is gonna pop and have a projectile on it. Sometimes you get unlucky with the timing and that's just life, but sometimes you can do the same to their souls. People also really want to punch you in the face, but her 2 makes her quite survivable and people tend to overextend to fuck you up. Her gun does good damage, and if you can press to their tower and get their minions in a line her 1 can basically full clear a wave and extend the time you and your partner can be pressuring the fuck out of them. However, if your lane partner is fucking up, she doesn't really have much ability early to push past mid lane and you can end up on a fairly passive lane where you don't really lose, but sure as fuck don't win.
I usually end up using her 3 to cover my lane partner when they get aggressed on heavily, or if we're at their tower and they're low, to prevent them from being able to reach cover/escape. Definitely dependent on your partner how you have to play though, baiting yourself or giving your partner a shield so they can over-aggress, shit like that.

These characters just feel so random, Abrams is pretty good skill wise as he has a shotgun and all his skills make him a brawler that wants to be close to you. I dont know the Deadlock lore, but the narrator keeps calling him a detective yet gameplay-wise he is just a charging in brute, not really the 1st thing you'd think when you heard someone was a detecive, and even outside of that there is nothing in his kit that would make you think he actually as a detective. Also a big part of his character seems to be the book he carries and talks about, and his Q makes sense but his ult?
