Okay, it feels like it's over. I crafted mode abyss, but I somehow lose against mirror (which is 80% of games in my pisslow) 90% of the time, the other 10% is a torture session against haven. Idk what I do wrong, the mirrors just have a perfect curve every time and I either can't find sham or enough mode cards for her. And the worst thing against haven is that I know, that theoretically I can win against it, if they run out of board wipes even once, but they never do. And so I have no vials, no gold and no desire to play this deck.

I'm not sure what his list is but it has some tricks up its sleeve. if they don't answer fairy blade by turn 5 you start pushing serious damage so your aria turn puts them in 1 roach range. you can also play a really big amataz on 3 sometimes, which demands an answer, but generally speaking yes the deck sucks. late game your shit gets blown up every turn and your closers are odin and 1x roach setups so it's really easy for the opponent to heal out of range. on the plus side you can race regular roach builds pretty well and you can sometimes outpace aggro abyss. your worst matchups are egg portal, storm dragon and loot sword and your rune matchup is worse than pure roach thanks for coming to my petdeck talk.

Midsword died off so it's more like the set meta was favourable to Rune. Dirt is much better now than it was in set 2 despite the list changing very little just because the decks that dumpstered it, midsword, midabyss and ward haven are all getting checked by decks it can play against fine. This set arguably didn't raise the power ceiling but it significantly changed how games are being played.
