I was able to do my second ascendancy on easy mode. Absolute zero issues. I didn't even notice too much of a change in my essence drain damage.

Am I missing something about Essence Drain Contagion leveling? Everyone says it's so good and I'm leveling my second character with it with twink gear (+6 to level of all spells, tabula rasa with a ton of spell damage) and it's just... ok? My warrior with league start shitter gear was clearing just as fast with much better bossing just using boneshatter and forge hammer. Already got my Lich nodes for more damage, using essence drain + bonestorm for bossing.
