If you don't draw your eggs you kind of explode and a third of your deck just doesn't work. Doesn't help its win condition is grinding out your opponent until they're in Odin range. Legendaries also fucking suck, Lishenna should have her fanfare and evolve reversed and Axia should maybe deal double damage with her super evolve since 1-4 to the face is kind of terrible.

I really don't get why they go on a super balanced route with these actually unique archetypes and then do something like loot sword that has insane golds and insane indirect board clear and burn by just fusing shit on curve.

I also just thought I just started playing dragon/sword last week so I don't have many games with it. When I play decks I'm more familiar with I can pilot them well and know what to hold, when to go face etc and even what I did wrong (usually). The other decks I play a few games, lose and then just hop to someting else. I think I just need to lock in on like 2-3 decks and ONLY play those. My match history is liek Sword 2w/4, Portal 3w/5L, Dragon 4W/8L etc. Maybe if I focus in I can do better.

I think current Sword is kept in check far better than Midrange Sword was last expansion
I think Sword last expansion legitimately had 0 bad matchups - like - at all.

I think current Loot Sword actually has a couple of bad matchups.

Rune has a better matchup against Loot than Rune had against MidSword last expansion because Rune now has 2 more heals in the form of Gilnelise.
Rune pretty much heals 16-20 HP on average every game these days. It's hard for Loot to burst through that

If Haven gets Blinding Faith on 4 or Salefa on 5, they can usually stall out Loot until they run out of resources
Albeit if Haven doesn't they kind of lose

My personal opinion is that MidSword last exp was much more dominant than current Loot

Wonderland Dreams was an expansion built around neutral cards. So the game devolved into every class running 90% of the same deck and then blood had the best synergy with the remaining cards so it was automatically the best because every other deck was just the blood deck but worse in every way.

The blood deck consisted of 14 different cards. They ended up nerfing 8 of them and not just shit like now they have -1 attack they completely ripped mechanics out of cards.

If you want to go full ramp, then get Fennie.
Azurifrit is for full disdain memes, but is pretty good otherwise. He's not a priority to get though.
Garyu is just a big value super evo.
Burnite is for discard but that isn't an actual deck yet. She's still decent on her own though.
Otherwise some of the neutral legends (Oliva and Odin mainly) are also strong inclusions.
