Very weird evening. I kind of blew my wrist out from drawing too much this past week, so I'm having an unplanned night of bumming around in XIV till I get sleepy.
This wrist pain used to happen to me somewhat frequently back when I did freelance art stuff (and nearly forced me to stop taking commissions) so I got a big pang of anxiety when it flared up again, but for some reason, this wrist pain only shows up when I use my Wacom touch tablet and not my screen tablet iPad, which is nice since I do the majority of my drawing on my iPad but all my good animation software is on my PC...
It might be time to finally invest in one of those professional grade screen tablet cintiqs.......

I want to bring to attention this MCH mod.

It wasn't quite my style, but I did keep the chainsaw/excavator attacks and used it with the DMC MCH mod I currently use.

However even though I didn't like it as a whole, I couldn't help but notice just how much work went into this mod. You basically hold your weapon like a modern assault rifle and all your attacks have like counter-strike counterparts. There's a million drop-down menus in the mod to enable one or disable the other, as well as alternative options for nearly everything. It doesn't stop there, he also has this fanfic in the main posting for the mod about the lore reason behind this tech being in FFXIV and every ability in penumbra has a little (i) by it and when you hover over it this massive paragraph appears with the lore behind that ability. All of this for free he just did it for the fun.
