Oguri doesn't scale and is only lv 3 discount 30% off, but her skills are better and there's 70% as many as golshi so it costs less SP to buy out her whole catalog than it would to buy out golshi.
Air Groove has the best individual odds at 1 in 6 and the same 30% discount as oguri.
Rudolf sucks don't ever EVER take rudolf unless you're building a debuffer. 1 in 8, no hint frequency or levels.

Speed and Power imbalances can depend on your choices in events, or what events you even get.
Maybe you hit 1100 speed through lucky URA finale sparks, through event cards or events that give +10/+20 speed.
Maybe you didn't get many of the +20 power events available to Umas, overall you could lose out on 60/70 power this way.

Finally, power needs some sparks in my experience, I like atleast 6* even for long maxxing. Even with all this it's a very rng dependent stat

So in summary:
For Gemini Cup, which takes place on a Long track, there's more focus on skills that increase late race/last spurt velocity instead of acceleration since everyone is more likely to hit their target velocity due to how long the last spurt is. Groundwork is still helpful of course, but inherit skills like Red Shift and Shooting for Victory (which were in-demand in the first Champions Meeting) isn't recommended because they activate on the final corner, which is in the middle of the last spurt already so either the bonus acceleration is redundant or happens too late. Since it's a Long race, gold recovery skills are more necessary. Swinging Maestro, BoFA (although it can activate right out the starting gate and therefore be useless), and Cooldown are some recommended ones. Inherit skills will depend on the strategy of the Umamusume you want to bring.

In Kyoto the last spurt mechanic starts in the middle of a straight and by the time you reach the final corner, you've likely reached your top speed which is why corner acceleration skills are useless this time around

You can also lower your stamina requirements by frontrunning urara, but bear in mind that this aspect of the strategy is easily countered by another front runner that isn't urara. However urara serves another purpose, which is to disable Narita Taishin's Sleeping Lion recovery. This will always happen because of urara's aptitudes and is uncounterable.

Distance aptitude is how long they usually go for. Sprinters are quickshots. Long runners are bulls that can keep slamming. Umas with all aptitudes like Maruzensky have great control and can make themselves cum quickly or enjoy a nice long romp, whatever the mood calls for.

Style aptitude is how quickly they get into it. frontrunners don't know anything but to go hard and fast. They press your glans up agains their hole and then go all the way to the back in one drop, and then keep slamming it down full throttle, slowing down a little as they start to feel it and approach climax. Late and End start slow, grinding, foreplay, long slow thrusts to savor the earlygame, then once their whistle is wet they kick it into high gear, ramping up for a dramatic finish.
