Make sure to change the second to last line to match your artists, it also helps if you change the "**8. Example Full Template:**" block to whatever you like, but it's not necessary. Cyberpunk 2020 is a great introductory SillyTavern adaptation and here's why:
It's the first TTRPG I've ever adapted, this entire project started with me wanting to play it since my buddies weren't interested in trying it out. Every single module's character sheet is inspired by my CP2020 character sheet. Everything is derivative of my trial and error original CP2020 adaptation. CP2020 even has its own GM card.

CP2020's character creation process sits in the middle when it comes to complexity compared to let's say 3.5e, Pathfinder, RuneQuest or FATE, DCC, Paranoia on the other end. There are no classes per se.

CP2020 is unepic, the opposite of epic. You're playing a regular guy, you almost never improve your character unless you get chrome or spend many sessions trying to improve your skills. In this game you get stronger by obtaining better gear, cars, safehouses, computers, mercenaries. You're just a small timer who is set to compete against the world using tech, money and influence instead of magic and superpowers.

Another great aspect is combat. The gunfights last a few seconds. Shots are fired, and you count the guys left standing. You have a health pool, but as soon as you lose around 20% of it, you'll find yourself in fight or flight mode. Your chances of survival drop every round after getting shot, and that's only if you're fortunate enough to be in a fair gunfight because crooks fight dirty here. They won't shy away from using grenades or gas. CQC is extremely deadly. I'll never forget how I whacked my first cat. It was some netrunner who was tailing me, so I shot him from up close in men's room of a bar and left him in the stall. Just another night in NC.

Last but not least, you're dropped inside Night City, a fully mapped and fleshed out city you can explore or just roleplay living in. It's like SAMP with cyborgs. The adventure will find you anywhere you go.
