Can only comment on Rogue. PVE rogue is pretty braindead. With my spec (Assassin), you maintain Slice & Dice and Envenom, spam Noxious Assault (generator) and, try to keep 4-5 pt Rupture up on bosses. If you get tons of energy and have 5 combo points without a need to refresh anything, you press Eviscerate, but that's not gonna happen until high gear and a respec to deep combat, if ever. In dungeons you might use distract to keep a pat at bay or blind something if shit's getting a bit sketchy. Combat is probably Backstab/SS instead of Noxious Assault with no envenom but otherwise the same. Combat does get Surprise Attack to hit on proc, but I don't even know if it's good.
PVP rogue obviously has a bit more depth.
Anyway, it ultimately doesn't play that differently from normal vanilla rogue if you've played it before.

I've only been playing rogue, so I can't really give you a fair opinion. The buff/debuff maintenance and combo point system has kept it engaging enough for me to not get bored with, and the different gameplay of PVP helps break things up. But if you're looking for a game with fast-paced and complex PVE, I doubt any class is going to suit your fancy. It's still vanilla PVE at its core.

Not a bad revamp, the manor quest is quite simple and it rewards undead paladins with a good 2h sword as other classes too, the boss fight needs 2 players since is quite challenging solo, also is quite simple, wish they could expand it to eastern tirisfal where the groove is, maybe reference that malfurion was there and the undead came back more "alive" than they were.

This one is really well done, the cave, Village, the concept, the "entity" the troll witch was following, from afar as i said it felt like a mid1.5/1.8 vanilla zone patch update, the boss can be soloed just fine if you know what you are doing.

If I abandon them, I'm either inevitably going to forget some quests when I head somewhere, or I have to sit down and open a spread sheet to plan out my leveling experience, which I'm not going to fucking do.

Gilneas should have been a level 30 zone anyway. Silverpine > Hillsbrad Foothills > Gilneas would have been the Elwynn > Westfall > Redridge > Duskwood of the Horde. Instead, they added Northwind to the already perfect alliance leveling experience making it even better, and the horde only got 2 zones rather than 3 despite needing it far more.
