Dude Yusei got shafted hard. The only 5Ds character that has ever won since 2010 was Jack's SD.

All in all, I think I'm pretty satisfied with how garbage the SD is. Someone at Konami is really based for making it as shitty as possible. I'll bask in the glory of my work for a bit longer and then take a break until the next time they decide to make more 5D's support. Or when I'm bored. This was a pretty fun reveal period for me.

Blue-eyes and Yubel were actual unironic Potentialman decks and Konami simply expanded on what was already there for them.

In the case of Blue-eyes, she's literally the strongest vanilla in the game and she was given loads of tuners so all she needed was some actual consistency and synchros to summon.

In the case of Yubel, she was infamously nerfed from the anime and she's from the era of HOPTs being a myth so all she needed was to have her anime effects restored and having an ability to abuse her floating.

I've been having a lot of success with this list, haven't lost to Yummy at all since JUSH format started. Side deck is constantly changing to try out stuff so I did not include it

Faimena is essentially a handtrap so I'm running 15 HTs in the main deck. I've been running the shaddolls to test them and while Winda is good she's a winmore card, so I'd swap them out for Fuwalos or Purulia. However both charmies and shaddolls suck ass in simplified game states which is where the deck thrives, so you have to consider that and maybe play something like belle instead or upping other HTs to 3.

I usually chain Faimena to Sue in hand and hopefully I was able to go into Mysterion with Pan or Mululu. This way Mysterion gets rid of Sue and you use the dragons to deal with whatever Sue summons. Playing against VSK9 is tough for sure, but if you are able to set up your traps you should be able to stabilize and win.

Mitsurugi is hard to play against with DT. I've found that Crow is good against it by hitting the ritual spell and monsters out of the GY. As for the ryzeal portion of the deck, the few times I've played against it I just do a fuckass Arthalion play to bounce back everything and hopefully take out Cross with Urgula so Arthalion can resolve.

Winda isn't the clutch it used to be in the past. Where before one can rely on Winda to last a few turns, there are now more ways to get rid of her effortlessly. It works to stop the opponent for 1 turn a lot of the time, but in your next turn you have to make it count.
That's actually the reason why I've pivoted to a going 2nd build by testing Fenrir/Pank and other board breakers but it's been a meh experience so far.

Tactical Try Decks are easier to develop and shit out onto the market but KoA's business model relies on reprint equity so a cheap package of staples with a bad archetype attached wouldn't fly. It's kind of strange too since structure decks are some of the few products that are almost always sure sellers since they have lapsed player appeal, budget player appeal, and occasional enfranchised player appeal. Preconstructed decks in every game are some of the hottest sellers. Commander precons are unironically some of the easiest products to sell in all of card games and good structure decks used to be the same. Commander is doing better than before funnily enough. The bracket system had a major positive effect on pick up games by giving players some structure to work with as a matchmaking feature. Strangely enough cEDH attendance is also up even if it's a wackyland fake format and people seem to be a lot happier to play with Dockside gone since games are less swingy and Yugioh-like. The thing that makes Spiderman sting worse than it should is that it's coming off one of the examples of a UB set actually being extremely good for the game in a year where in-universe sets (except Aetherdrift) were loved for being what people actually wanted, and is pushing back Lorwyn to early next year. No one is thrilled for capeshit and the idea is showing itself to be bad in general since WotC is having to remake the set in-universe because they couldn't get the digital rights to put it in Arena. It's more of a blunder than it should be because it's coming out as a total wet fart while everyone is generally pretty happy with how products have been developed. It's clear it was supposed to be like the older UBs where they were supposed to be sets of commander precons you can buy collector packs for to get special variants of the cards in the decks but someone had the dumb idea to shift it to a standard set.

Rush started doing it and to a normal person the card is the same as any card game that does full arts. With Yugioh keeping the borders around the art, it makes the game appear more disciplined in its design approach and distinguishable from other card games.
