And unlike with fixed wing IIR AGMs (and Spikes) I can't seem to get a POINT lock beyond 11 km, so increasing the range artificially against stationary targets doesn't work. So good update for US helis, but can't remotely use the range it offers. Kind of a shame, especially with those new SPAAs pushing everything back.

I can control fine with keyboard controls. It really does just feel like I'm actively fighting the planes themselves, more than the controls. Even if I try following a guide, none of the fighters I've used actually do what they're supposed to.

I want to use the P-40, but it sucks at climbing *and* I can't boom & zoom in it. It just either goes too slow, starts spinning out in a dive, or it locks up from the speed before I can hit a target. Now I'm playing Japanese fighters, and they simply can't turn like I want them to; they keep stalling mid-turn and going nose-down.

French fighters are my best line, but I only ever play them in Arcade Battles. I would LIKE to play the M.S.410, MC.202, P-40, Yaks, and the Finnish BF-109. I have the M.S.410 and P-40 and I'm working on the others right now.

What is the explanation for this bullshit? This is the 5th account I've boosted and the match quality is so staggeringly different from my main. There was one account that was similar but that's it. I'm a full blown believer now. If every other game out there has some kind of engagement based match making there is zero logical reason to think this one doesn't.

Tradlcers have always lagged behind where the actual fire is. Part of it is most belts having non tracer rounds that will "lead" for short time windows, part of it is the speeds of vehicles and travel time of shells causing lag that can't be avoided, part of it is netcode that can't really deal with it. Overall it's really not that bad. At least I haven't seen games on this scale that did it better.

This sounds like you're having trouble with energy management, mostly. If you're stalling in turns you're going too slow. That's generally bad, unless you're in a pure 1vs1 and your enemy is in an even worse state.

After I played 200 battles in the M50 I figured I would do the M44 next. Gotta say just like the M50 you don't get to have much fun most of the time. You're a big open top shoe box with just enough armor to fuse most things and a large enough profile to attract all the planes. At least the mobility felt good and the round doesn't go full retard as much. Had more fun with it bringing it to 5.3 and 6.0 than I did at 4.0 battle rating though.
