his entire existence is revolves around his Ultimate. youre the best hound dog for your team when it's off CD. 3 minutes and 50 seconds(?), it should always be used when READY to use. Otherwise, youre wasting your time and everyone elses, even the enemy team. you should be using your ult every 4 minutes. Not a joke. With Trans Cooldown, it becomes 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

The average person will hold on to it for their "big moment" ult but there is no fucking point, the moment will come when it arrives. The ult should be used for 1-3 people to just straight up kill someone every 4/3 minutes. its insane when you think about it.

anyone with a ultimate with a ""long"" cooldown should be doing the exact same thing. Seven is probably the only example because everyone's ultimate is sub 115 seconds. Hell, anyone's ultimate off cooldown should be used for the exact reason, to use it. period.

I think they're doing this on purpose, idk. I was phantom 4 when ranked was introduced until I stopped playing. Since I started up again I probably have 200 matches and ranking up is EXTREMELY slow. Closing out games is a lot harder in deadlock compared to Doto/League. The design of the stronghold is so heavily skewed towards defense that even with a huge lead the defenders can still fuck you all up and turn the game around.

I wrote this post on /v/ two days ago and ended up playing 10 full games since then. All the MOBA aspects are daunting at first but luckily I noticed the Auto Queue Buy thing before my first game which made it so I didn't even have to open the shop once. Even without knowing what the hell my opponent's characters were doing I did totally fine just landing abilities and not overextending. After getting my feet wet and later watching a video explaining midbosses, urns, and slot machines everything is way less intimidating. Also, I feel right at home with the advanced movement mechanics.

I was going to uninstall after playing the tutorials, but the strong first impression the game made with the cool hideout and character select which forced me to give a real match a shot. I can see why Valve ditched Neon Prime's "cyberpunk where heckin crime is legal" direction (reminds me of SEGA's Hyenas). The Dishonored look is way better.

Dunno how much time I'll end up putting in this game but it surprised me to say the least.

I just embraced the grind and learned to make my own builds. I'm a passive player that plays support, so I tend to focus on abilities and helping teammates instead of doing raw damage. Keep in mind, I'm low elo. But I feel that you'll get a better sense of the game if you dedicate some time to make a build for one of your mains.

Some of the builds are good and they each have their own playstyle so eventually you'll find one that meshes, and by looking at the similar items per hero you can figure it out. Tracklock might help you filter the shit builds out though. Drifter especially has a lot of dogshit builds
