Systems development analyst here. Do yourself a favour and avoid this server for forthcoming future.
The reason why they can't fix or even replicate bugs like execute not dealing damage, ships randomly getting players stuck (they re-enabled teleport npcs like what, 4 times now?), abilities like overpower randomly not procing from other ability dodges, primal fury not working at random, people being unable to loot items or get attacked by other players until logout, pets glitching out and not following players: all these random issues have one underlying cause, most likely unfixable by Epoch developers.

Epoch's code is incorrectly handling client/server packets, including movement and ability packets, for example: each movement packet sent by the client to the server include a time-stamp. This time-stamp (after conversion to server time) along with the rest of the packet is then retransmitted to the other clients. But theres something seriously fucked with their buffer which leads to time desynchronization between the server and the clients. It's also why mobs seem to melee hit you from 10 meters and chase you for half the map and why your abilities and talents don't proc at random.

Everyone was telling those mongoloids that the pvp server faction balance will be dogshit because that's what always happens. I think they were planning on doing an enforced 53/47 faction balance but then they dropped the idea (53/47 is not good enough anyway, 52/48 is bare minimum) due to rushed launch and more urgent issues (servers constantly crashing and shitting bed).
Now the faction balance is more like 46/54 and the real faction balance above 30 in contested zones is more like 20/80, making alliance leveling borderline impossible unless you play stealth or pet classes.

EU times STV, Hillsbrand and Tanaris are virtually unplayable for alliance. I now have 3 characters in their 30s/40s because leveling is impossible (figuratively, I'd simply have to spend 80% of it corpse walking).
Not even an acknowledgement from devs, this shit will be dead within a month, no amount of faction benefits will make people switch when leveling takes so long due to hp/armor buffs and bugs

I don't know what the upper levels are like balance wise but shimmering flats, a zone that every person does in the 30 and fully faction neutral, has around 7 horde for every 1 alliance at LEAST. So while the upper levels might be less imbalanced right now, the crowds of horde making their way to 60 will worsen it considerably.
I'm thinking I'll just reroll horde while waiting for them to make the server pve or offer paid transfers over to Kezan. The problem to me is that even if the pop does start going down it'll be because alliance are quitting which will only compound the problem.

While I enjoyed the general overhaul the whole clear 6 areas of mobs to get access to a mechanic to spawn the boss thing repeated twice is just too much.
