Not quite. Arc Turbo still has uses and is worth running. It can:
>unbrick / empty your hand
>be used on a vanilla to protect your lvl 9s from widespread
>kill maximums without needing to draw TSA
If you hard draw it (or use it on a vanilla) you still deal battle damage, and having the 3rd guy be boosted can help get lethal that you wouldn't have without it.

The problem is Konami being schizo and adding modern support alongside which causes the deck to spike in power/consistency it didn't have in reality when it released. Charmy Witch, Imaginary Reactor, and Chaos Femtron are all 2024 OCG cards that came early and caused their decks to overperform.

The game is unfun when your opponent can consistently draw 2 or more cards per turn. HERO is biggest offender with Argent randomly going +0-+6 (fucking awful card design.) Because then they've drawn enough to search for their wincon + MSTs + their own Shadys if they didn't finish the job.
Ideally what they WOULD do is put a bunch of draw cards as limit 2 or 3 to prevent people going +5 or +6 on turn 2 and blowing out.

By that logic they should also hit the warrior one since the only thing stopping them from also using cyclone is star restart. Which this goes back to just how cancer hero+Gaia&metatrions were. The true issue being dark revelation existing from the start and then slapping everything with removal or protection as an answer. When folks were just using dragoncaster anyway no matter what. For as balanced as people like to make rush out to be, they don't look further into it.

I think their main concern is that it makes their go-second gameplay really tough to deal with. At least you're getting a 1-1 when they use Stream vs backrow, but Cyclone can potentially unbrick them or help find a tech in tandem with its removal

This month's character is going to be some DM filler character. The next Rush character hasn't been announced yet and we probably won't know anything until we get next month's schedule. I think the most likely candidates for the next character are Yuna and Rovian, since that's what's next in the plot. Although they have released characters out of order before (Zwijo before Manabu). It's worth keeping in mind that even though we're not getting a new Rush character this month, there's an unreleased Luke skill and an unreleased Handy Lady skill that were datamined and they both use cards that we don't have. And we're also getting FGD as a gift and I don't think that would be very easy to summon with the current card pool either. So we might get another Deck Build Box or some other side-box like. If your gems aren't about to expire and you're not sure about wanting anything from the current box, you could wait until the next maintenance to see if there's any leaks.

I like playing Galactica Fusion, mostly because I like Yudias.

I wish deck would be less powerful but not outright killed with the next banlist.
Which change would you suggest for the deck? Maybe some kind of nerf to the skill? Which part of the deck you find too unfair to play against?

Judging from the "free" deck they gave out, they'll probably slap ExtraPLORER to 3, and that alone will cut the deck's power a bit (less Secret Order spam if you wanna use it for backrow, or forcing them to run Storm again)

There's also a chance at a skill hit, but either way, the deck will lose a bit of steam but still be strong enough. I dont find anything too "unfair" to deal with Light Galaxy - its just a matter of "do I have a way to avoid staring down Eternal when it appears"

By this point I'd wager we are seeing it in the February 2026 main set. Like Chaos and Lost Oblivion, they will make Diskarma and UTS part of the same Deck with game originals that bridge them. Diskarma would be awkward to put in either the Oblivion or Linac-focused Decks if released by itself since they are heavily reliant on Fusion with full Extra Decks already.

That new beasteam turbo max summon deck completely hard counters light galaxy.
Literally impossible to beat once it hits the field since almost none of them run talisman.

Galaxy decks have a lot of cards that search Oblivion from GY, so the skill perverts them into cards that in practice search Secret Order of Greed, which is fucking stupid. Having a skill to help you recover from a boardwipe is much more in line with the game's philosophy than "Go +2 every turn you have your ace monster in hand".

Since I wasn't giving DL any money, this technically doesn't change anything for me. But it's definitely scummy and it's definitely shameless of them to try to pretend that it's an improvement. They're tricky too. All of the Youtubers that made videos expressing concern over it when it was announced immediately forgot about it because we got "free" SDs and made videos about that later that day. Let's see if there's at least some backlash now that it's implemented and the people in denial about it being a scam see the prices.

Are the people sharing their experiences with this calculating the value of cyrstals based on a bundle in specific? Because that's one of the reasons why this sort of thing is predatory: it's impossible to actually calculate the value of a crystal because each bundle offers a different "deal". If people calculated it based on the price of the single-purchase bundle, it will seem cheaper. But if they calculate it based on the smallest bundle, it may be more expensive.

Yeah, you can calculate a base value by looking at the crystal bundle that offers no "free" crystals and using that as a baseline. But realistically, most people won't buy that. A standard card bundle costs 450. If you buy the 50 crystal bundle, you need 9 of them, so that's $8.01. If instead you buy the next one with 260 crystals (10 of which are "free") twice, it costs you 8.18, but you end up with 70 spare crystals for 17 cents. So how much were those crystals worth now? At first glance they're cheaper in the second option, but it requires you to overspend on the initial purchase and save the rest for later, at which point you're paying in advance for something you don't even know if you'll use. And even this dude in the video concludes that if you're going to buy crystals, you should buy a bigger pack to get more "free" crystals, but that's exactly what Konami is hoping you'll do. There's no free crystals. You're getting a discount for buying in bulk and the only one who benefits is Konami, because that way you either pay them upfront for a later purchase or, in the best-case scenario for them, you use those excess crystals on something that you wouldn't have otherwise bought. And this is all while simultaneously making the price of the thing you wanted as vague as possible by displaying the price in fake currency and making you buy that in a separate menu at varying exchange rates.

Well, if you want to use light galaxy, it's recommended that you open the galactica go rush box for a third oblivion, as it is the best card to discard with the skill and maybe more copies of secret order, maybe the eternal galaxy road box for at least an extra copy of galactiara eve, at least an extra extra plorer and a second eternal galactica Oblivion wouldn't be bad, but it's not crucial, and get transam liker 2 and 3 from the card trader.
Yeah, this campaign isn't as helpful to new players as I initially thought, but if you're going to go with light galaxy, it's better to open eternal galaxy road first and get the light galaxy structure deck, as it's the only way to get three transam linac right now. There are some people in HIS website that got kog yesterday with a very cheap version of the deck, only going through galactica go rush once for oblivion and secret order and getting good traps with the bundles.

This deck is pretty strong, still deemed the best in rush, and its greatest strength is the skill carrying it, how easily you shit out fairly big monsters that can't be ignored and eternal for the finisher. You should already have pot of greed and you don't have to worry about getting traps like shiny shady or excutie riding, although excutie riding is in the eternal galaxy road box and is somewhat useful. Widespread ruin is a bit easier to use than trap hole, but both are pretty simple, as you're pretty often shotgunning trap hole at the first monster that comes out to prevent a possible mst.

Hyperstrike Dragon Dragiastar IF is the cover card of the next main set. I like the use of the IF to say it's a game original.

I think DL ain't getting either yet. Konami has been slacking off in adding Go Rush characters. We haven't even gotten Rovian, Yuna, or Lugh yet. Contact Fusion would have to wait until a style chance with Season 2 Yuamu and Ritual until Kuaidul (assuming he will be based on his Season 3 self).

I love to go to the toy store during my office lunch breaks and buy Rush structure decks and collect them. I'd love to collect the booster pack ones too, but it would bother me if I couldn't get the entire set every time, however the one time I got some booster packs and got the Rex and Revolver Dragon it made me very happy. I love looking at my collection binder in the evening.
