While league of legends might be an extremely popular game, there are some problems with how things are in 2025 due to inflation and money. Younger gamers who are 18 and younger are all gravitating towards free to play games like league of legends because they don't have any money to buy anything; At the same time, they are more cash conscious and don't spend as much money on things as the millennial generation or above. League of legends might be more popular than ever for young adults and teenagers, but it means nothing for riot themselves since they can't make any money off it.

Above the millennial generation spending on gaming has decreased as well, but not hugely to that extent. So it seems if people are spending almost as much in these older brackets and almost nothing in 18 and below age groups; And thats why there are 500 dollar skins. Because there's no money to be made in mass small transactions anymore from young adults and teenagers. If they have 10 dollars they are going to spend it on a game thats 90% on sale GOTY 10 years ago, not a single skin on league of legends. Its not exactly catching whales but instead they are just going for where the money is, which is the older age brackets who have it to spend on a skin. These are the types of people who own every nintendo game because they have the money so why shouldn't they treat themselves?

Not unless you have a very weird setup. Riot said they received zero reports of actual bricked PCs.
However there was one thing that caused issues which was basically this:
Vanguard requires TPM2.0 and Secureboot which are features of your motherboard. In order to install Windows 10 you have to have a motherboard that supports these as well. However there was a hacky way of installing Windows 10 by circumventing the hardware requirements which worked fine but when you installed Vanguard it would try check for these settings in your BIOS and try turn them on but since your hardware didn't support it then your PC would just fail to boot. So basically if you didn't check the requirements and installed it anyway.

Soraka is my favourite Arena champ. Enchanter items are so good in Arena. Locket giving like 2000 health shield which makes you immune to getting bursted. Redemption is like another 3000 health heal. Arena Moonstone works on your Q self heal so it spreads to your ally. Because even in my farthest memories you'd end up having decent teams from time to time, but nowadays the average level in bottom of the barrel elo is so impossibly low it feels you'd sooner be able to lift a mountain than to carry this wretched, darker than black scum.

All I'm wishing you is to find the strength to break the cycle, accept how awful and unfair the game is and drop ranked entirely, there's nothing but misery to be gained down there.

In my opinion the core gameplay of TFT is great but Riot makes each set has to have some sort of gameplay gimmick to keep things fresh. So a set will live or die based on how fun its gimmick is.
The current set and the previous set gimmicks have been kind of ass. The current set you get a couple fruits which you can feed to units to give them a choice of gamechanging buffs which sounds cool but it pretty much just means you have to fish for specific buffs on specific units to be competitive.

For me, this set hasn’t been as enjoyable because none of the comps or units feel that interesting - despite it being THE anime set.
