This is my favorite event in the game. It has elements of a musou game in that you're essentially capturing enemy strongholds and planting your own flags on them. Doing so raises your morale and makes you stronger, conferring amazing buffs like actual infinite stamina (which I just got and makes traversal in this game so, so, so much better) as well as insane cooldown reductions.
Everything else in this mode is equally fast paced, such as the treasure chest tracking that you get once you beat the area's elite boss. The game tells you where the next chest is and automatically pings it on your map. Then, literally as soon as you open that chest, the game IMMEDIATELY tracks and pings the next chest in the area without you needing to do anything. Why can't the rest of the game be this fast paced?

Yeah, Wo Long Fallen Dynasty was one game on my mind when I was thinking about this event. But also just musou games in general, since Wo Long basically took the stronghold capturing mechanics from musou games and put their own spin on it.
One of the cool things that I think they can do with this type of mode is made older areas relevant again, and maybe even in ways that are story relevant.
For example, take the town of Hongzhen in the Mt. Firmament area.
Prior to you breaking the time freezing effect that place has, you see tons of Fractsidus enemies frozen in time in Hongzhen. And yet, when you remove the time freezing effect, these Fractsidus enemies are nowhere to be found.
I think it would be interesting if this banner game mode was used in Hongzhen, because you could easily devise some kind of a scenario where the Fractsidus are trying to invade the town by setting up various bases and camps in and around the area, and now you basically have to get rid of all of these invaders by taking over the encampments and strongholds they've erected.
You Jinnybros want to make her relevant again? Have her assist you as a trial resonator for this hypothetical event.
And yeah, I agree that adding tons of crazy buffs and debuffs (like, as you put it, losing morale levels for taking damage) would make for a really exciting way of playing WW.

This mode is pretty fun. It's got roguelite elements in the randomized buffs you can choose after beating a floor. The buffs you get can feel pretty satisfying to accumulate and use. Plus the rewards make it worthwhile. Also, judging by the event description, the rewards refresh on a regular basis. Am I correct on that? The cinema has some of the buffs for older characters but the difficulty is non-existent there.

This is an individual thing, but it's usually more satisfying if you at least farm 10pulls before pulling. Doing a bunch of 1pulls and seeing nothing but flaccid blue lights is depressing. Makes it easier to keep track of how much you've thrown at a banner too.
But yeah, long story short is keep playing if you're enjoying it, you'll get more pulls. If you're not enjoying it, that's okay too, Silksong is out.

Are you like pulling every day? You shouldn't do that. You should have up AT LEAST enough gold orbs and astrites to get 80 pulls, and 160 pulls is even better so that you are 100% guaranteed to get the character you want in case you get absolutely dogshit luck.
I've been playing steadily for about a month and have not done any pulls for the limited banners, and I have 47K astrites (equal to 295 orbs), alongside 25 orbs. So I have a 100% chance to get Iuno when she comes out in 10 days. If I reach 51.2K before Carlotta's banner is over, I'm gonna roll her (since she's in my top 10 list of characters I most want to get in this game, alongside Iuno). I essentially won't pull for any character unless I have a 100% chance of getting her.
Yes, I know this means that I won't be getting all characters as they come out, but I'm perfectly fine with playing the long game. I want to be in control. I don't want to be at the mercy of RNG. If that means only getting 3-4 characters per year, then so be it.

The reason why is their art and design team is solely focused on new characters, maps, objects, monsters, and so on. They have to put out a shitton of work every 8 weeks or so. Look at septimont for example. Its a huge multi layered area with many unique echoes and beautiful environments. The same with rinascita. Their teams are working hard constantly.
