I can't believe I'm saying this but I think the GK 1st period will be my fave of the year just from how many surprises they could pull out. It doesn't help that they're set-up is just a lot more memorable and allowed some crazy stuff instead of, for example, this live which just sorta had a screen at the top and some lighting.

I think people underestimate just how hard it is to religiously follow all content for a single branch, let alone all of them. Sure, maybe they're not in direct competition with one another since it's all iM@S, but they ARE competing for your time since you can't exactly play two games at once (no I'm not talking about autoing your dailies here), and there are only so many hours in the day. And that's assuming you have no other hobbies or responsibilities on top of that.

It's probably way more common to have one or two "home" branches and follow the rest casually.

The key difference is always going to be that Uma did not launch with a cast that big, it grew bigger over time. All the producers that don't pick it up or drop it early because their idol isn't in it add up. We've seen this exact scenario play out with Poplinks. The major question is how they make a game that makes players satisfied coming from 10 years worth of content to a game that will be bare bones. With Day 2 behind us it's comforting to know that whatever the future of the franchise holds Cinderella Girls and the producers will be just fine.

Despite some of the opinions in this thread, the live itself was an absolute celebration. I've never heard so many producers react so intensely to such a wide variety of songs. We went through 48 songs, but it felt like a matter of minutes, though the true amount of time showed via the salt stains on my shirt. I'd list highlights but there were too many. The award for the strongest Ps goes to Triad PrimusPs, rising out of every section of the arena had at least one glowing triangle. And similarly with inverted UO A's during Answer. I ended up on TEAM SEBUN both days, towering above the crowd, even further away today than yesterday, but I don't mind at all. Having such a good view of not only the stage, but the whole crowd with it really puts things into perspective.

Cinderella Girls and the Producers will keep living together, walking together, and going together until the end. And no expiration of Cygame's or anyone else's lease on the franchise will ever stop that. Because the clock of Cinderella never stops.

Other than MOIW, this is the feeling I've gotten for other lives I've been to, where /@/ might be a mix of reactions while being there in person it'll be the best thing ever for me. I think a lot is lost in streaming. That isn't to say some lives can't overcome that, but it really IS a different feeling to be there in person.

There's no real proof a new CG game will be a success nor is there proof it will be a huge flop. If I could recall, pretty much no one believed in Gakuen even being a moderate hit but those guys turned everyone around with first the music, then the writing, then the gameplay. While those three had varying degrees of success, being able to nail all three at the same time was a huge multiplier that allowed it to break out in modern gacha games.

I personally dont believe just the CG name can guarantee success. It really depends on how the game is managed which is doesn't exist so claiming either way doesn't matter. Imagine.

You know what's the one problem I have with TD's gameplay? In the current event I only have to gain 45k points to get all the outfits since it's only 2 idols, which I can do pretty casually with daily drinks and normal stamina refresh. But if it's a full roster of 5-6 I have to go up to 90k points to get enough tickets to get all the girls the unit outfit, which I can't do with daily drinks and normal stamina regain. Yeah I can exchange tokens later but it does suck if a unit has multiple idols I really like and I know I'll have to wait to get all of them the outfit. End of rant.
