The class score grind is the absolute worst addition to this game.

The effects are barely noticeable. The grind has a timed component and needs to be done even during events. It eats up materials, is a tedious daily task, and has gated components.

There's no redeemable quality. It is clearly a chore put into the game to try and mask the lack of actual "end game" content, and the only positive thing I can say about it is I will never need seashells again.

I just finished up unlocking all the non-gated nodes for all the classes, and the thought of having to fill out the next sections, for every class, is pretty daunting.

I finally figured out why this event is the way it is.

This event is designed to introduce not just Wandjina to like half the cast of Chaldea but also to introduce new/returning players - who started playing during anniversary and summer - to half the cast of Chaldea. That's also why the event design is stupidly simple and so cookie cutter. They left a hook for a sequel with Wandjina in faerie summer, and then they made this event for said newbies who wouldn't know what the fuck is going on and that's all it is. That's why we also had half AP embers and hunting quests right before this. It's all just to give newbies shit to do/farm, and old players just chill I guess.

I hope the new players are enjoying shenanigans with Wandjina then.

People always say this is what happened in Babylonia, but I went back and looked not long ago last time it was said and I did not find any reference to that.

The only indicator is when it happens, Da Vinci and Romani say something like "wait, he made it it out there on his own" - which is not summoning yourself with your corpse, it's being a Rogue Servant using something akin to Independent Manifestation like Gil does in the Moon Cell for CCC or Extella.

So where does the corpse summoning line actually happen?
