It's my opinion but ZZZ died with the release of 1.4 and the the removal of the TV part of the game. It was not for everyone sure, but ZZZ really had something special in how they conveyed story elements and added neat little gameplay tricks through this TV mode. They removed it in favor of hallway slop everyone has burnt out on and the game has just been slowly dying from that since then. The Hoyoverse hamster wheel of powerspiking endgame content did not help its case.

As a day 1 ZZZ player, I'm honestly on the verge of uninstalling. A couple days ago, I realized... I just wasn't having fun with the game. It was feeling more like a chore than a fun time, and the dailies felt like a waste of time.
When I was slogging through an event (with unskippable dialogue) on the last day before it ended, I just stopped and asked myself if it was worth it. Did I really want to spend another half hour grinding through an event I didn't want to do for less than 2/3 of a single pull?

I've enjoyed the game for a long time, but I just haven't been feeling it lately. It's unfortunate since it seems like some of the devs really care, but maybe this is just the Hoyo curse.
