It's just far too risky to try to compromise an entire team, unless you build it from compromised players from the start. Even then there's no way you would let them know about each other an potentially whistle blowing each other.

Also, it's just much easier to convince a player to feed first blood or focus on courier kills or camp stacking and let him still try to win than to convince him to be an eternal loser.

Midas into OC on techies is so good it let me beat my NP in hero damage.

I spent the entire game mining the enemy jungle controlling the map, and void spirit kept dying to me, so he rage quit and didn't show up to an important team fight.

I think that's a good contrast to notice. Dawn has only a single win against a team that qualified (against tundra). Every other win was against weak teams like wildcard and BOOM.

Sven on the other hands, despite having a poor winrate, at least has examples of him being used to beat good teams (teams that managed to qualify). It shows he can be good in the right hands.

If you want to win the whole thing, you need to pick heroes that you know can be used to beat the best.

ok lads here's my YTD stats from returning to the game after taking an extended break (c. 2022).
I got calibrated into low herald ~2 months ago and have gotten to ~1500 MMR fairly easily, maintaining something like an 75-80% WR throughout the process.
Since reaching crusader my games have become significantly shittier, and I'm trying to figure out how to improve from here. I suspect my GPM is far too low, probably from low CS, which i've been working on quite a bit, but would certainly welcome some help in optimizing. Mind you that no supports at this rank ever actually stack camps or really do much of anything in lane, so I just picked up beastmaster recently so i can just stack for myself.
All of the games pictured are ranked, mostly offlane with a bit of safelane (ursa/sven), except for the beastmaster ones, which i just played in unranked recently to learn the micro. I don't want to be that guy and just blame my teammates but i really do feel that somehow the quality of players dropped between guardian and crusader, which should just not be the case. Any advice is more than welcome, either general advice or just resources I can use to get better. Would love to see some beastmaster pro tips as well, anything helps.
