I keep my PvP team at my level (currently 81), and pretty much everyone else is below 77 with very few exceptions, and if I try to level up another student to 80 I'll be left with no resources. Lv75 is enough for most insane difficulty raids, they're more of a roster and skill level check. You won't be clearing Torment and up any time soon.
Just upgrade them slowly, focusing on the most important skill levels of support students, and you'll slowly get stronger. Don't hesitate to spend coins from Total Assault and Grand Assault on blurays and books if it allows you to get students like Ako/Himari/Kisaki/NYFuuka/Rio/Seia to EX level 5

I've tried the same strat with Shizuko's cart, it didn't work, I gave up after 30 minutes of trying and just did it as I should. With S.Hanako, Mika and co.

I got it on my first try so I don't know if I was extremely lucky or everyone is really bad. Just follow the video exactly and use the slowdown you get when you select the EX to time it properly.
