in dota, because I can just a click somewhere and not pay attention while moving long distances or farming, I can just stare at the map.
but in deadlock I feel like I'm always staring at my crosshair and I rarely glance at my map. there's just so much to do with the movement and securing souls. when the fuck can I find time other than between waves after the laning stage, or when riding the zipline?

Do you need a reliable source of bullet AND spirit damage on your hero to succeed at a high level? I assumed the counterplay to someone stacking spirit resist against your spirit hero is to let your teammates who built bullet to kill them, while you prioritize targets with low spirit resist.

Something I recommend doing with Doorman to make sure you hit those immediate post ult carts is double jump in place and throw it at the top of your jump since it's very common for people to come out of it in the air even if you ult them at ground level, this way you'll hit them a lot more consistently as long as your timing is right. Another combo I like to do when I really just want to take someone to anal town when you max cart is

Ivy is a support built around using her gun. It's high fire rate pairs extremely well with many of the debuff items that proc from bullets, the rest of ivys kit is extremely useful by just existing.
Ivy has the second highest fire rate in the game. You know what pairs extremely well with high fire rate? Tesla bullets. With tesla ivy can deal decent damage but importantly has insane wave clear and can proc her tesla across an entire team which allows her to combo into it with stuff like suppressor or mystic slow.

Just because you're too dumb to understand how itemization works in this game doesn't mean ivy isn't a support cuck. It also doesn't mean she needs to deal high gun damage either as a "carry" character that has an invincibility state that heals her AND stuns + extremely good AoE wave clear slow + an ult that can literally get her out of any situation would be extremely extremely annoying to deal with if she also shat out a ton of damage.
