I argued this weeks ago over the change, Assault needs to go back to being medic no ifs ans or buts.

It forced teamplay, battlefield had the best idea of forcing people to play the "healer" class and they threw it in the trash becasue their stats are fucked up. A new engine is difficult to learn for anyone. There's a reason why RHS isn't the massive dominating force it is on 3. It requires twice as much work for a single weapon because there are a lot more mechanics involved. Even the inclusion of PBR makes texture creation involve more work, yeah there are a lot of weapon mods on the workshop but if you even spend more than a second looking at them, they are extremely flat, look like shit, sound like shit, and handle like shit. V and 2042 have their moments. Its really map specific. V didn't get good until the pacific theater. 2042 didn't get good until the map reworks. Personally 2042 could've been an all timer if it wasn't so god awful at launch and players got used to open weapons faster. I seriously do not care about specialists. Their special gadgets could've just been a Gadget 2 slot and no one would've batted an eye. Instead fans threw a fit because they just couldn't get past the rigid class identities we got used to over decades.

In my time in Tarkov I can count on one hand the amount of times I was confident I got schwacked by a cheater. Hard to tell when you're bad at video games to begin with. Maybe. But considering they are multirole, I expect them to be more geared towards ground ordinance rather than cannon power. In the beta they had parachute bombs and AGMs at the same time. So you might be able to take ir missiles for defense and ground attack weapons for ground. Much like how tanks can take two different shells now, so you'd take APFSDS for anti armor and HE for infantry, rather than being stuck with AP for armor and a subpar LMG/HMG for infantry defense. Interested to see how it works out.

Don't worry, these can easily be balanced by changing the thermal's resolution. They did the same thing in 2042, basically they can make it more blurry and not as sharp. The shorter range scope is much like the one in 2042 which means it's ass and kind of difficult to use with a very narrow fov in exchange for slightly better target acquisition, but it's really no better than a 3x optic. I don't think it'll be a big deal and DICE will probably change how it works over the course of the games life span

The only camping I accept is hiding when using a drone to spot hostiles and disrupting enemy vehicles. A sniper being 400m away from everyone getting a headshot every other 4 minutes helps no one, not even the sniper because he's not getting enough kills to impact the battle. a good 90% of the playerbase never learns to fly helicopters/jets or drive tanks Because they dont or cant. The issue with Tanks, and planes in modern BFs are the unlocks. It doesnt help the only good modern unlock is an APS. Smoke is so fucking useless so you are basically a sitting duck with no APS.

I don't see a problem with in-flight repair, the end result is the same: enough damage will force the jet/heli out of the fight for a while. Doing it this way just makes it more straightforward, less clunky and less dependent on the geometry outside the map borders.

They should remove jets and let helicopters be the main air vehicle. Fixed wing aircraft should be downgraded to drones that you control from operation stations on the map (similar to BF1 special classes) and you can be a skynigger as much as you want as long as someone doesn't come up behind you and murder your physical body.

It's not unlocks, all of the sweaty infantry farmers already know where every single static AA gun is on the map, the second you start shooting at one they just fuck off back to the airfield and then come in from max distance to destroy you with literally no counter.
