5/8 can be done before entering MDI, and for the sake of your sanity, only bother doing MDE with a Capo Meursault Tremor team, or Poise/Rupture.
It's not impossible with other teams, just takes significantly longer on a set of floors that's already as fucking long as it is with meta teams.

Problem with MD isn't even difficulty, it's not being able to run it on hard and use every weekly bonus, you can only farm 3 shards per clear, while hard gives 23 a week for the same amount of work, it's just much more time consuming, second problem is being stuck with early canto ticket and thread grinds, it's less difficulty and more tedium.
