Just beat Crust King. I was tilting very hard running my 3rd time through the first 3 gauntlet rooms then tilted completely over when I saw there was a 4th but thankfully it was the easiest one. I went to his room and lost which tilted me again but when I went back in I saw the big spire I knocked down let me skip the first 3 gauntlet rooms and I beat that fucker on my 2nd try.

So if you never break that spire you'd be forced to go through almost everything again just to attempt the boss? Those poor bastards.

Just beat The First Sinner on my second attempt and goddamn what a great boss. I was locked the fuck in because I can just tell that's a boss a lot of people are gonna struggle with. Honestly wish I died more because it was such a fun fight I just wanted it to keep going. My favorite in the game so far.

I don't like swarm-type fights because it is too easy to get into dead-end situation where no possible actions would save you from taking damage. Cues are useless if every enemy have own cue, and every inch of the screen is covered in enemies.
Maybe pro-games can execute thinking ten steps ahead so they never get into this situation to begin with, but I have to rely on luck to get through those types of fights.

I can't seem to even do the first jump on the second section of Fey Mountain. Hornet just hits her head against the damn platform right next to it. When I do make it past the first bug, I hook the loop, hook the bug, and I'm a good foot below from being able to hook the second bug. I don't understand how I'm supposed to make the hook bounce go higher on that third bug or prevent Hornet from hitting her damn head on the first.

If you have double jump, the steps route is insanely safe and contains no respawning enemies. You can use double jump to skip 100% of the sand carver platforms and after that your only dangerous obstacles are two fans.
