White Forest is tons of fun and not even that bad in current meta. It’s no Malice or Ryzeal but you can do a lot.
You have several ways to play it too and you can splash with other engines like Centur-ion, toy box, fiendsmith and so on.

I'm just saying, limiting the Link monsters would make no sense because you only really need 1 of each, so it'd be pointless to put them to 1 if all they need is 1, they have to outright ban them to have an effect on the deck, which seems very unlikely. They could limit the field spell, but this is also a card that only needs 1 to really function if they really had to. Maybe one of the spells since all the traps are run at 1 anyway, but likely they'd hit a main deck monster, and it won't be the starter or the extender, it'd be the card that accesses non-engine by hard drawing. I'm just looking at it logically, why would Konami hit Dormous when she's the normal summon? Rabbit sets a trap at worst. March Hare would be my next best guess for a hit, since that stupid bitch just existing gives Maliss enough to rebuild any board, but it just doesn't feel like Konami would be inclined to hit it.
Anyway, this is just an opinion, time will tell what ends up happening.

This is what I just threw together. The engine ratios are pretty standard, obviously change the non-engine to whatever you like. You can also choose to run a Shadoll package to summon Construct with Shadoll Fusion which gets you Nepyrim+Dragon+Genius in the GY.
You can also build as a going first deck which is more common in the OCG.

Snake-eye could get handtrapped on any of its supplemental engines (if you let them resolve, they set up negates) and not care because they can grab their best starter with bonfire and summon it. If that gets handtrapped as well, they reveal that they had diabellstar in hand anyway, who mind you can send shit on field as well ie millennium to summon herself. If they started their plays with snake-eye, any 2 bodies is fiendsmith, but it's very likely they also have either sengenjin or deception in hand, OSS got limited because dumping it with zombie vampire/pilgrim reaper was also a choice. At least keep Brilliant Fusion+Nepyrim. Not only does it get you a body on the field, but it can work as 3 extra copies of Foolish Burial for any light, fairy, pyro, thunder, aqua, or rock monster. Hard to say how relevant that will be since it's limited in every other format.

In a competitive sense? Not really. Gem Knights don't really do a whole lot even with the new support. In a casual sense? Ehhhh, maybe. Brilliant Fusion enables some pretty nonsense plays if you're willing to play the original Garnet, but the engine itself mostly exists to facilitate FTKs. To the point where the new stuff had to specifically box out effect damage to prevent being Gimmick Puppets 2. The new support makes it pretty adept at spamming bodies but IMO it's an archetype that's past it's prime

What do you guys think about using the regenesis cards in nemleria? The deck just summons 2-3 dudes that set up a targeted negate (mostly meant to protect dream tower), a (conditional) massive beatstick and either a slow DRNM that asks for a tribute, or a book of moon, it doesn't do anything else. Regenesis can set up an actual omni negate, a compulsory, a MST lol and another book of moon with actual follow up, namely setting up your GY and hand for an OTK, no more running meme cards like eater of millions and gren maju. I also don't mind locking myself out of the extra deck since nemleria already does that. And if i need to empty the extra to summon her, i can run shit like ultimate slayer or gordian slicer to do so.

I'm only missing a single archfiend and the one lord, so if i don't get them with the duelist cup's gems, i'll craft them if my idea isn't terrible.

I more or less already explained what the nemleria cards do.

The synergy with regenesis comes from the fact that they can summon themselves with the spell, or by revealing or having a monster with 2500 ATK/DEF in your hand or field. Archfiend is practically infinite follow up so long as it doesn't get banished from the grave, so searching lord on the second turn to OTK with it (he boosts himself to 5k and deals piercing) is a much better idea than using gren maju.

I could see it working relatively well. Pretty much all Nemleria can do is stall a bit with its protection, and the Regenesis cards give some real interruption to make that stall successful+great grind game to make the stalling worthwhile.

But there's no way I'm aware of to bridge the archetypes so you're really just playing two decks at once and hoping to draw starters for both.
On the other hand, worst case scenario that means your hand just plays pure Regenesis which is decent or pure Nemleria which you were going to be playing anyway if you hadn't put the Regenesis cards in there.

You can send Heraldry patriarch to the GY with Ext Ryzeal which on top of your Ryzeal endboard gets you Shatter Stream which pops one and goes into Dark Matter Demolition and also you can get Kragen on top of that and I think some other stuff.

Why does the "Archfiend" archetype contain so much random shit from a million other archetypes?
Summoned Skull has its own set of "archfiend" cards, there's the shitty chess themed Archfiends from GX, Infernity has an Archfiend, Labrynth has an Archfiend, Lightsworm has an Archfiend, Regenesis has one, Red Dragon Archfiend obviously has a bunch

It's an extremely simple deck. You can just read their cards and get an understanding of how it works. They play all the monsters at 1 except Archfiend at 3, and they play the continuous trap.
So the trap and the main deck monsters are their main endboard pieces, and the fact that they all add themselves back at the end of your opponent's turn means you can just set up every turn.

It's almost kind of like Horus but if Horus had actual interruptions on their monsters and didn't have to just be used as ED material, and also they don't risk losing all followup if the opponent had backrow removal.

Also since it has 2500 attack/def synergy that means it synergizes with some random stuff like Bystials.
