Yeah, if a mod ever effected load times for me I'd instantly remove it. I just play on a 3060 so I never went crazy with it. Even on my 7870 in the mid 2010s I targeted 60fps no matter what. I looked at some of the fancy enb shit and when it dropped my fps to the 30s I noped out, crazy to me to this day there's no real way to get that kind of look while being performant just from the limitations of the engine itself. I don't get why people wrestle with it so much instead of just accepting what it can do.

you should see Interface, sam and SKSE folders at the root when you open the mod in explorer via MO2. those 3 folders need to be in the data folder, so you could manually install if you want but MO2 can handle it. just make sure you see those 3 and there isn't some extra parent folder
