In Solo you gotta hide behind faurt when it's not petrified or digging. One of the few enemies that actually blocks projectiles in these games. In multiplayer at least one person should be on gnoster, and gnoster actually has pretty decent attack windows despite being a moonlight butterfly rip-off.

I genuinely have no fucking idea what they were thinking when they designed Guardian. The class just fundamentally and from every conceivable angle does not fit into the game whatsoever. It's a design decision so baffling, it had to be made by someone who had no idea at all what kind of game they were designing for.
Or maybe From just had the basic concept for this game, or a game like it, kicking around since DS2, and Guardian was a concept class designed to illustrate what classes would look like. And when they ran out of ideas for characters in Nightreign, they just slapped Guardian in there to round out the roster. Because he does feel like he belongs in DS2. It's so strange.

I tried the STR stat swap relic for revenant. It works suprisingly well, you'll get good damage, but overall you're just a slightly weaker raider with lower max HP. You can still cast incantations pretty well but if you're swapping out your primary weapon type you won't see them very often.

The relic which gives VIG/END in exchange for MND seems genuinely good on revenant, even if you're not running the STR relic. The extra HP and stamina are nice and the FP hit isn't as bad as you'd think.
