What if the syringe guns could heal teammates the same way the crossbow does? The crossbow provides burst healing while the syringe guns can dish out sustained healing at range. I'd give them reverse damage falloff like the crossbow but maybe that would be too strong

Shotguns (including miniguns) and pistols have NEVER been kind to me and I've always just been on lower lerp possible (interp 0, ratio 1). Mastercomfig's default per-class placebo trash hasn't made a difference (except making projectile classes laggier) neither has ratio 2.

You have to set up individual class .cfgs, the settings, binds in them will be automatically applied when you switch to that class even while connected to a server. You can use this to automatically change sensitivity by class, apply certain keybinds to some classes but not others etc.

a case from say 2024 smissmas no longer drops now since the season is over, does that mean no more of them can come into existence? they aren't added to the official store? if not, then does that mean that all the hats/skins/etc in old cases become limited and can only be obtained through trading? am I unable to purchase several old cases/crates to get some old hats and not have to worry about prices being high and essentially burning through a finite supply of both cases and keys? seems sucky if so, what if I wanted the "gift bringer" cosmetic from the tough break case (which no longer is created), is there a finite amount of gift bringers in tf2?

When I boot up a game called TF2 Classic I'm not looking to get the creator's take on custom balancing, I'm looking to play classic TF2. That kind of false advertising annoys me the most and it boggles my mind why they even added most of this shit to begin with

also engineer is a well thought out class all about maintaining his buildings, he doesnt need weapon gimmicks, hes already a finished class. I would say maybe a Wrangler without a shield could be fine but engi unlocks in live TF2 are either aids or pointless

If there's unlocks, then yes. I'm proposing that there be no unlocks, which by definition means no arbitrary decisions because there are no decisions to even make. You wouldn't need to worry about creator bias if there's not even any weapons for them to change and fuck up, if they stuck to the vision and just ignored any and all unlocks then it really would be classic TF2

I could say the same for every other class in the game, which play just fine with stock and were in a fully released game without any unlocks of any kind. Stock soldier is fine, he doesn't need gunboats. Stock heavy is fine, he doesn't need a sandvich. If you want to talk about relevant unlocks, what about the crossbow and ubersaw? The Axtinguisher or powerjack for pyro? The sandman or bonk for scout? Jarate? Gunslinger? There's so many unlocks that are pretty integral for playstyles in the base game so I don't know how you can claim any of these are more relevant than others. And that's on top of giving the gunboats to demo for no reason

You see this is the problem, it's going to have bias. You have the same bias as the people who made TF2C, but from the perspective of someone else I can apply that label to basically any class. For example I think the gunboats are aids because rocket jumping is a powerful tool that's supposed to have a downside and negating that downside spawns crackhead soldiers jumping all over the place. Heavy is a big, slow health pool and he's vulnerable to hit and run and poke damage. Oh, but give him a hitscan explosive burst weapon that is basically the minigun but strictly better so he wins all peek contests. But perish the thought of giving engineer even a single tool to help himself
